Excellent suite in the Heart of the CityWe stayed here as our last night in NZ.We were driving a campervan that the hotel parked on our behalf- this was a benefit given the carparks all have height restrictions.We took a suite given the excellent price, a large double bed was in a separate room. We had on offer a fridge/freezer, sofa, flatscreen tv with DVD. The hotel and room were spotless and location was central. Leaving the hotel meant you were in the shopping/business district and a couple of minutes walk from the wharf with waterside bars. The fridge as stocked with well-priced essentials, wired broadband (single ethernet cable) and a table with four chairs.We didn't eat in the restaurant given the many near alternatives.

The staff acknowledged that we had just come from a 12 hour flight and arranged a room for us 3 hours ahead of their normal check-in time. Being our first time to Auckland, the concierce service was extremely helpful. The hotel was centrally located in downtown Auckland, and bus service was convenient with stops at the hotel. The hotel provided discounted taxi service as well. We would stay there again.

Fantastic location and great customer service. Apartments very comfortable and equipped with all required amenities. Inclusion of a washer and tumble dryer was brilliant.

Internet is unbelievably expensive and I ended up paying 5 times what I expected, but the manager was very kind and understanding and took 20% off the total I would have otherwise paid. Be careful with that wireless, though; they charge by MB used, rather than time.

Very good hotel for staying after a evening at the theater. The desk service was very good and although the waiter dropped a glass of red wine which splashed our clothes, help was immediate and compensation was more than adequate. Will stay here again

Only annoyance was I was informed breakfast was served till 11am , it was 10 am so had to go out for meal. I could have been there before 10 if the correct information was given. Otherwise great hotel great service.

Another wonderful weekend at CityLife. We booked a standard room and were upgraded to a deluxe suite - sweet! Very clean, quiet and the service was friendly and relaxed. Can't beat the location right on Queen Street either. Highly recommended.
