DO NOT STAY HERE, DO NOT STAY HERE UNTIL U READ this was by far the WORST HOTEL i and people i met there have stayed in!!! The staff at reception dont really seem to care whether you encounter a problem. THE ARE LAZY AND DISRESPECTFUL TO HOTEL GUESTS AND THERE PROPERTY!!! ill tell you my story form the beggining. for starters, if you go there, be aware, there parking is from 48 dollars per day, and they park it in a local parking area, where you can park your self for 1 day for only 38 dollar. So dont get ripped off there. when we were there, a total of 2 days, three cars that were waiting out the front of the hotel, to be taken to there parking, they were smashed, one the windscreen, the other had a bottle smashed through the windscreen and side windows, and another scratched, made me feel real safe when i woke up. Upon entering our room, it was sweltering, no open windows, no fan in the ceiling, only a button that either is on cold or hot, and ours was on cold, yet it was sooooo hot. we requested a fan, 20 minutes go by of sitting in skirt and singlet top, no fan, call again, apparently everyone is busy... wait a further 20 minutes, go down stairs, ask same girl called twice for fan, told will send one straight away, after 10 minutes again, my partner went down stairs, and he got our fan!!! when booking the room, we asked for a queen size bed, well they thought the would up grade us, to 2 singles pushed together... its called a zipper bed, it is so gay and uncomfortable. never heard of such a ridiculous thing, i ask for a queen, i get 2 singles, lovely service. No exhaust fan in toilet/bathroom, so ladies, if you have a feral man, id leave the room before he goes, cos there aint no where for the smell to go, the shower, is either boiling hot, or freezing cold, and the head doesnt stay up. were given half a roll of toilet paper. Spoke to a guest staying on the top floor, asked him how it was, said he would nt know, has not had power for 1 hour... the card to use to get into your room, youll have to ask for a replacement atleast once, saw numerous people outside there rooms, trying to get in, but failing. there awesome pool, that is heated and is open until 9pm, the heat gets turned off by 5:30, so it aint egzactly warm, the 2nd day we went at 12noon, it was colder than the night b4. there gym, they are deceitful, it is one tread mill, i exercise bike, and 1 stepper, with about 6 weights to lift, up to 10kg. on the saturday night, at 8:50 pm, we had a phone call from reception, did we order a steak, my partner said no, they hung up on us, no, sorry about the mistake, where do these reception ppl think they work, out right pathetic. there was construction in the building, next to it, and opposite it, was fantastic to have been told this, and to have been woken up each morning by the noise. The 2nd morning, we went to put the tv on, thank god we were leaving at 10am, well the tv had lost its sattellite, so now on had tv service, by then we couldnt take it, unfortunatley our flight wasnt till later that night, we just wanted to get the hell out of this crap shack hotel and out of crappy perth. of course, we had to have breakfast first we went and sat down, bottom floor, and we saw 3 perth bogans, drinking... at 7:30am with bottles and ciggarette butts around them, and spit. they were directly in front of us, so we all had to look at these dirty bums, sitting on the steps of a hotel we paid good money for, and they were not asked to move... where is the service, hotel staff just looked on.

Overall good place to stay. Hopefully the pool area and gym are included in the renovations as these were some what substandard for a 4star hotel.

The room was lovely and very good value for money! The renovations did not get in our way, only minor paint fumes on entering the hotel. Service was fantastic and reception staff were very helpful! Only concern was my missing necklace upon return to our made-up room. House keeping weren't too helpful in terms of chasing that up and that was disappointing. I would suggest to use the Safe if you do have any valuable items to save yourselves the hassle. Location was good as it wasn't amongst the busy vibe and bars but a 5 min walk from main shopping areas and pubs. Would definately stay again!! Fast Eddie's restaurant is around the corner, try their Banana splits!! Very tasty! :)

Will be much better when the building next door to the hotel is completed. Were woken each morning at 6:30 with the construction workers. To save your legs, catch the free buses which run through the city, these are called Cats. Close to Harbour Town and the centre of the city, a short stroll to the malls, and the train station. Overall it is a good hotel and central to everything.

Fantastic room but unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations. This means that certain bars/restaurants are not available and that workman are making noises throughout the working day. It didn't bother me too much but my predecessor in the check out was obviously put out by this. The hotel is about 5-10 minute walk from central Perth and train station. Recommended but only when the building work stops and all is back to normal.

Hotel being renovated but no sign of this when I stayed. The room was clean and well apppointed. High speed internet access a plus but why do Autralian hotels keep charging for this when overseas it is included? Breakfast was good standard. This definitely a businessman's hotel rather than for tourists. No clutter in the lobby of tourist information. Perth cabs are difficult to get but the bus stop and train station are just a short walk away. Towels were of good quality which is always a sign of good management. A short walk to many restuarants and pubs.

Walls are paper thin thus enabling 'any' type of noise to be heard no matter what time of day it is! Complaint made to Reception who had to ask neighbours to quieten their antics at 2:00 am. Considering recently refurbished, our room had torn curtains and the pillows were flat. Wine glasses were dirty so I had to wash them before use. As the Dining area within the Foyer (still under renovation) was quite dismal we did not bother to stay for breakfast. First and last visit, sorry.

they were still renovating the hotel so its hard to say what it will be like when its finished. they could off had a shaded area with table and chairs where you could off had a coffee and smoke. i found the breakfast expensive and cold. it was a buffet and plenty of it but it was flat cold and not edible. otherwise everything else was good.

Checking in on the first day, the bathroom was not cleaned. However, they changed rooms for us instantly when we complained. Bought some instant noodles from the supermarket to eat and left them and a bag of chips in a plastic bag on the table, housekeeping threw them away. When calling reception to complain, asked me to redirect my complain the following day. Did so, and never got any reply even though he promised to. Was not really lenient with the late checkout time.

Hotel was clean but did not have a lot of character. It is conveniently located in terms of Perth city, but the huge building site directly opposite is an eyesore. Over 25 dollars for continental breakfast was very cheeky! The staff were friendly and helpful.

We found the reception staff to be particularly helpful and pleasant. Rooms were also of a good quality, clean and with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed - plenty of fresh fruit as well as the usual cooked breakfast etc. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel more than we did several others of comparable or higher tariff.
