Hotel was excellent service, price, location, staff flawless. Only real dissapointing thing was the parking thought it was too expensive, there should of been a discounted rate per day or not pay at all !!!!!

Location was fantastic the map made it look further than it was. Had a fantastic time and comfortable sleep on 14th floor in twin queen room. Will stay here again next time we come down. PS If u r more than 1 person it's cheaper to get a taxi than bus/train.

Stayed at Citigate Central in February. It was a great time in Sydney & we made a great decision staying at this hotel. Just recently refurbished - nice, fresh & inviting. The friendly service was a delight & relief after a 15hr flight. The hotel is comfortable with modern furishings, the restaurant is great & surprisingly affordable - new lobby cafe open from 6.30am to grab coffee before heading out for the day. Only a 10min walk to Darling Harbour, monorail & most transport to get around town. We had a great time & would recommend this hotel to our friends or who ever wants a quiet resting place in Sydney.

We arrived at 11:30 am after being on the journey 24 hours and were told the room was not ready. Ok - we would wait in the lobby as we had a lot of luggage. We asked if we could have lunch in the restaurant as we were hungry. The restaurant was closed until dinner at 5pm. We ordered a coffee to drink in the lobby, cost was 5AU. We were provided with our room at 1:00pm. The rooms size was good but was shabbily furnished, and had no view. The bedding was very poor and not of 4 * quality. The bedspreads had not been changed in a while and I later found stains left from previous guests - UGH!. Overall the place looked tired. My bedpread had a hole in it and thebedding pillows were skinny. The bathroom sink plug was broken, and we were supplied 1 piece of soap the size of a .50c piece. The bathroom lighting is terrible.The shower was dark. There were plenty of mirrors in the room and places to put luggage. Tea and kettle was nice addition. Carpet was stained. The pool was on the roof and tiny. One evening I went up after a walk-about and it was full to capacity, at least 6 people were in there. It was a long walk to the harbour although right in China town, near great pastry shops. Restarant was good, service good, staff were good. Consierge was excellent.The romm lacked a lot of amenities, not a 4 * - more a 3*. I'd have paid more for a better room.

Very near to Paddy's Market, and walkable distance abt 5-10mins to Central Train Station. Clean and spacious. Good place to consider.

Price at $149 was good, TV screen was small by my standards, Bathroom was spotlessly clean but dated which should reduce the 4 1/2 stars to no more than 4 stars.

we were quite satisfied with our o/nite stay everything taken into consideration.Our only whinge would be the xtra for parking not included in tariff which makes it rather non competitive as to other hotels.

Carpet hadnt been vacumed on check in but the rest of the room was spotless so the floor must of been an oversight. Staff were wonderful especially when i had a flat battery on checkout and two of the male staff spent an hour with me trying to get it started!! Second time we have stayed and had a great time. Also really well located to China Town and Darling Harbour.

For the price, this hotel is ideal for families. Location is excellent as you are within walking distance of City/Darling Harbour and very close to public transport to take you further afield. A nice quiet hotel, with large rooms and adequate amenities. Very happy and look forward to staying again.

Stayed in a refurbished room on 18th floor. Room excellent bathroom sort of renovated but dated. Excellent location clean and service excellent. Will stay again.

friendly staff and hotel very central for station, buses etc, but the area was a litlle run down.

The service is good, rooms are large and have been recently revampted. The only problem is that the bathrooms now look dated and let the hotel down. The location is in a relatively peaceful area and is close to Darling Harbour. This hotel is always our first choice when we stay in Sydney

Very nice, standard hotel room. Good location once you find it, with a nice lobby. Don't expect a view and the pool was disappointing but we would stay again.
