Hotel lobby and casino areas have bad smoke smell, the room we stayed in fifth floor was clean, carpet had stains. Ample parking. Buffet restaurant was not good and over priced. Hotel can use a total remodel must be one of the first on the strip.

We spent most of the time outside of the hotel. The environment in the hotel is vary bad. The employees are really unfriendly. The hotel looks, and is, old, very bad kept, poor maintenance, not much things to do, overcrowded.

Not much. Staff not very attentive. Did not meet expectations and has gone down in quality in the past few years.

The hotel exceeded the expectations we had for the 3 star rating. Our west tower room was large, clean, had modern furnishings, and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the free circus performers as well as the 2 dollar heinekens at the slots of fun. Good place for kids too. If you have any interest I highly recommend the pinball hall of fame (please touch) museum on Tropicana a couple miles east of the strip. Its free and many games are only a quarter.

My husband and I were looking for good value for the price paid and Circus Circus provided that. The rooms were clean and guest services were quite pleasant and helpful. The on-site trip tour provider gave us an awesome trip to the Hoover Dam via Sweet Tours, a highlight of our trip. However, the hotel was VERY crowded and the majority of the crowding was small children in strollers with parents that seemed to be on crack at the warp speed they were walking. We realized we were staying at a family-friendly resort but it was a little nuts trying to navigate around 4 foot bunnies won in the midway area. We are late nighters - so the noise never bothered us but it took some time to get around the main parts of the hotel with all the strollers. The pool was also kid-friendly but it was clean and spacious so the smiling children we're not a problem there. The Garden Grill was very good - another great price for the value. The only other negative I would say would be the area of the hotel outside of the Adventuredome is loaded with vendors hawking their wares and some can be extrememly pushy. If you have a strong sense of self and can barrel through there on the way to your room, you'll be ok! =) Next time, we'll probably stay somewhere a little more geared to adults.

It was the most family friendly place that we saw in Vegas.

I booked this hotel for my 5th year wedding anniversary. My wife was satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and she is usually the first one to break out the bleach and ammonia to start cleaning stuff. For the price, the hotel was decent, although the mattresses could have had a little more cushion than they did. Other than the smell of the parking structure on the side of the entrance building, it was a good experience overall.

We were pleasantly surprised to find an old hotel updated and quite nice. We learned the MGM bought it. We stayed in the West Tower and the rooms were very clean and modern with silk comforters on the beds, marble tub enclosures and sink counter, flat screen TV and an awesome view of the strip. The restaurants were comparably priced and the casino was smaller and more easily navigated than the larger ones. There is a bus stop right outside the Slots of Fun. They were one of a very few hotels offering free Cirque tickets. We got to select any of the Cirque shows we wanted. We give it 2 thumbs up!

If you are looking for a 4 start hotel-then Circus Circus is not it.However our room was always clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced.Good-close to the pool,3 available-although they all close at 6PM.Lots to do-from gambling to the midway and many different restraunts.Staff were couteous and very helpful.Bad-loud neigbours made the first night very noisy.Lots of walking-casino is huge and we were in the manor so a long walk to slots of fun or McDonalds. I liked that it is located half way between old and new vegas on the strip.I wouldn't have any issue staying this hotel again.

We had to walk about 30-40 minutes to get to our room from the front of the hotel. Our door lock was broken. The elevators weren't working so we had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Everything was so dirty including the towels. There was even a huge clump of hair left in the sink. After the first night we left and moved to a different hotel and lost the money we spent on the hotel at circus circus.

Very clean and a outstanding room. It is a little old. To make a long story short I would stay there again.

Good location just few mins walk from main centre of the Strip, close to all amenities, buses, shops etc. Had everything you could need in the hotel. Vibrant lively, but one of the older hotels on the strip, but still pulling in the crouds. No major complaints except noisy toilets and showers in our and other rooms, water sound from others could wake you up as sound came through walls. Enjoyed stay would use again.

we've been there two weeks ago and we found out that its a nice hotel despite of all the negative that we read it in here (reviews) were in skyrise tower and our room is nice, nice bed, nice shower room and nice view specially at night and our room they clean it everyday and its very convenient everywhere i would stay there again

Check-in was handled efficiently, but with an attitude that the person was doing me a real favor. After that great experience, I was then sent over to an annex building that looked about 40 years old and about 10 years overdue for an update. Everything in the room was worn and drabby. It was not convenient to the main services of the hotel. The hotel is at the extreme end of the strip and not within walking distance of the variety associated with Las Vegas.
