Stayed here to go to a few baseball games, enjoy the 4th of July asa family.

The staff was professional and welcoming. The valet was extremely helpful and professional. One of the rooms that I reserved smelled like mold. Additional party members said the sheets were stiff and noisy.

Cost cutting obvious at hotel - by the lack of housekeeping. Garbage piled up outside my door for more than 12 hours. Hotel room floor covered with peanuts. Bathroom toilet had brown stains originating from base on tile floor. Bill was incorrect at check out. Charged for parking when had no car. Phone system didn't work - couldn't call front desk. Room service fair, but didn't have several items (food and wine) listed on menu. In summary one of the worst Marriotts I have ever visited.

We were here for a Cheerleading/Dance Competition. The service was excellent! First classall the way. The hotel was full to overflowing, so the business center was busy and there was a bit of a wait, but with wi-fi service through out the hotel we just pulled out the laptop. We needed a roll-away, and even that came up to the room quickly and it was comfortable! The front desk was always staffed at least two people deep and usually four. We called forbellhop service at check out at 8am on sunday, they were there in 15 mins. and loaded our carfor us! The food service at the resturant doesnt really have anything for picky 11year olds, but even they tried and offered items not on the menu. I can't really say enough good things about the service at this hotel. The front elevators are slower than paint drying, but just walkto the back ones and zoom to your room!

Hotel and overall experience was great!! Awesome family getaway! Only problem was that Orbitz supposedly called hotel ahead of time to try to make sure room had 2 double beds instead of 1 king, and was told by Orbitz that it was all set up, then when we check in, we were told that all double rooms were sold out and there is never any way to guarantee the type of room you will get with Orbitz. So the kids had to sleep on rollaway beds which are not near as comfortable as the regular beds.

The location was great, staff was verry helpful, and the hotel itself had a great design. Iwish more rooms had a direct view of the river and downtown. Overall, a great place to stay if you are in the Cincinnati area!

I recently stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip. Based on my search, I thought that the hotel was in Cincinatti, not in Covington KY. There is nothing you can walk to from the hotel, unless you want to buy discount cigarettes or liquor. I guess they are less in KY. The parking was expensive, the internet was expensive and the only restaurant onsite was expensive and not very good. Unfortunatly the spa was broken on this visit as well. I would highly reccomend that you stay on the other side of the river (in Cincinatti) so that you have a more pleasant stay. There are a lot of nice restaurants and shoppin on the other side. You can easily drive to the KY convention center, you'll probably save money on parking anyway. The rooms are fine, but small. You'll have a lot better stay somewhere else. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY EITHER

This was my second stay at the Rivercenter Marriott and everything about the place is first class. I stay almost exclusively at Marriott hotels because of the consistent quality. The Rivercenter has incredible views of downtown Cincinnatti and the Ohio River. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the greater Cincinnatti area.

Either I was intentionally misled or else the communication at this hotel is very bad. I was sold a package incuding dinner and champagne. When the bill came I was charged, in full, for a mediocre dinner and told that the package actually included vouchers for an equally mediocre breakfast. I even called before arrival and asked how the dinner deal worked, whether I got some sort of certificate. I was told ""they have a list"". Apparently I wasn't on it.

The construction going on in the room under/next to me was a bit loud on a Saturday morning, but overall the hotel and staff were great. View of the Cincinnati skyline was nice to wake up/go to be to and having access to a balcony really make my trip extra enjoyable.

Updated, big rooms. Big work out facilities and pool. Plumbing in rooms need tweaking.

Guarenteed advance pay reservation but didn't hornor it. Gave room & honeymoon package to someone else. Personal, extra champagne given to the same wrong people. Woke up to hammering and construction. No remorse or correction of poor service. Getto rooms, area and service.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was very helpful. The dinning options were amazing, along with the food they served. Everything in the room looked brand new, all of the sheets and towels, and the bed was more comfortable than my own bed. I would definately recomend the Marriot to anybody.

Location, view and comfortable room. The view was a terrific feature. The staff were very polite and professional. I earned a blister from walking too much in shoes not meant for walking. Very nice and appreciated.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week. It was a wonderful hotel. It was very clean and the service was great. (The beds are soooo comfortable!) The only slight problem was the parking. Once we got used to the system, it was time to check out. You have to park, then get on an elevator to take you to the front desk, then get on a different elevator to go to your room. And you have to have your parking ticket validated at the front desk each day, so don't leave it in the car!!

The Lobby was gorgeous and so was the view from my room. I didn't like the fact that the lobby was on the third floor. We got it for on Priceline. The lobby was large and beautiful with a fountain, piano bar and glass elevators. Valet parking is available on the first floor, the pool, gym are on the second and the lobby is on the third floor. The view is absolutely amazing and you are able to see the Cincinnati skyline. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was soft and warm. I hope to stay here again soon.

Proximity to downtown Cincinnati Overpriced hotel. Would not pay for a room. The hotel was situated nicely within walking distance to downtown Cincinnati. We went to a Reds game on Sunday and was able to walk over the Ohio River to the ballpark without paying for parking. That was a major plus. We also avoided paying hotel parking because it was included in our Priceline reservation which saved us $12.00. If I didn't reserve through Priceline, I would never pay the asking price for his hotel. I believe a one night stay was in the $220.00 range and that is way overpriced. I have stayed in hotels such as the Hampton and Country Inn Suites those are very comparable to what I received at the Marriott in Covington. We did not have a microwave, fridge or any other amenities that you would think a room might have from a 4 1/2 star hotel. But since I Pricelined it, I have no complaints.
