The Gibsons from LoughboroughWe thoroughly enjoyed our night's stay at this B & B. The weather was miserable all weekend, but the accommodation was extremely comfortable and met all our needs. We were greeted with a complementary tea tray on arrival and the breakfast was delicious, especially the home made yoghurt pot. We would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.Mark & Alison Gibson

A night in Church Farm Guesthouse.I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. The home cooked evening meal was among the best I have had anywhere. The breakfast was easily the best I have ever had and the freshness cannot be questioned as the eggs come from the hens in the garden.

Would i stay againWould i stay again is the only true review of any hotel, and the answer is yes, but only if i have a car to hand as the hotel is in the middle of a village with no local pub or shop, and getting a taxi everywhere proved to be a pain. The hosts could not have been more helpful, but on a personal note the evening meals were to 'al a carte' for our tastes, a real 'foodies' heaven but not mine. The quality of accomosation was excelent, but locking and unlocking the doors was an aquired art. In all I have paid a lot more for a lot less, so well done to our hosts.

Weekend breakWould find it very hard to fault our short stay at church farm. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived and soon realised that nothing was too much trouble and came away feeling as if we had been visiting friends. N.B they do need to keep a close eye on pricing while the economy is in freefall, i would hate to see them suffer due to the downturn.

Feels like home! One of the warmest guest houses I've stayed in. While I was in the area for business, I felt I was on some holiday / retreat. Great food, amazing hosts with a great dog and cute kids. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Mel and Martin made us feel at home. They have set a new standard in our minds and we were sorry we had leave after 2 nights with them. Everything was superb, couldn't fault it at all. We even enjoyed the attention of the family dog- Basil.

The beds were wome of the most comfortable we have found anywhere. The rooms were clean and the en-suite facilities excellent. Unfortunately we did not eat due to illness but we can recommend The Plough for an excellent meal (the Chef was co-owner of the Guest House). Mel dealt with our illness with commendable promptness and arranged for a swift visit to the local Doctor - very kind and considerate. Highly receommended.
