the room is big.. and they replenish all daily neccessities daily.. even mineral waters and tissue without being asked.. but the bad point is small cockroaches can be seen in wardrobe and toilet.. for a hotel with such pricing.. its considered VERY GOOD..

i stayed in 2 different rooms in a week with checking out and in between. i booked the same type of room but the standard varies. for eg, the 2nd room i stayed was much bigger, brighter, newer then the first one even though is the same type of room. now i understand why people give extreme comment to it. it really depend on which room they allocate to you. service is good, with complimentary breakfast (must try the congeee) and location is good once you find out where it is.

A budget hotel on a smaller side street. This is an older hotel, the rooms are very dated and don't appear to have been renovated for some time. But they are kept very clean, and the price is very reasonable. For someone who is only concerned about budget, this is the hotel for you. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful, even the cleaning staff...even more so than most Taiwanese hotels. Though most of the staff have very basic English (if any at all) they really try very hard to help you out. The free breakfast is mostly Taiwanese style food, but very good. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with the MRT and Kaohsiung Rail Station an easy 5 minute walk away. The high speed rail station is only about 10-15 minutes by taxi.

The hotel is not as easy to find as they claim to be. Firstly, the train station has two exits and the exit you have to take is the back exit. The walk for about 5 minutes before reaching the hotel, which is tucked in some lane and requires a fair bit of planning to reach. The staff were friendly but the hotel atmosphere is not very welcoming. Perfect for sleeping only.

Hotel is near Kaohsiung railway station, about 5-10 minutes walk. But have to cross a overhead bridge over the train platforms and go through a quiet alley to reach hotel. The beds in the hotel are rather hard so may not have a good rest.

location:at t back exit of kaohsiung train station.2 blocks away, at t back of the blvd, in a small street. FYI most of t shops,intercity buses,newly operate MRT station are located in t front station. w/c is 5 railway track away from t back station. ROOM:very dark, not like t one shown in t net.pls. note they do hv rm w/o window.make sure when checking-in request room w/ window. TOILET:very 60th, out dated,shower not adjustable, need to hold on one hand during shower. BREAKFAST: ok overall room is clean, staff are helpful & honest,even w/o safe in rm, nothing is missing during t stay,w/ t rate they are charging, u can't ask for more. is value for money.

Breakfast was same and not much vareity during our 3 days stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
