We have just returned from 2 separate stays at Chisun for our Japan trip. It is a lovley quiet, clean hotel, and rooms quite spacious. Free internet in the room is certainly a bonus. We found the hotel quite hard to find, on our first night arrival. Walk straight out of the main entrance/exit Ueno JR station and veer left to go down the main road. A few blocks down, when you see a big red arch (temple) on right, turn left and walk two short blocks down the side street. Look right at the end of the second block... and Chisun is there. Less than 10 minutes walk from statiion. Highly recommended hotel for location and price. Staff were all helpful and friendly.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. If you use Google earth to find the location it is incorrect. Use the Hotel location map. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the Ueno train station. We took the Skyline train from Narita Airport to Ueno Staion which saves having to change trains. You need to book your seat on the Skyline and there is plenty of room for luggage. Really enjoyed Japan and food was cheap provided you ate with the locals.
