I've had two extended stays at the Chimo in the last 45 days. I stayed on the business floor and was quite pleased with the service on that level. The dining staff are a bit rude but I think that is just a cultural thing. The front desk and management staff were very polite and accomodating. I also made some new friends at the bar.********** Try the french onion soup with a gin and tonic at the bar.... very nice ***********

For the price, the quality of the hotel, room and location were worth it.It is clean. It isn't close to downtown Ottawa. Standard hotel with good size rooms, friendly service and very reasonable if you get a good rate through Priceline.

Very poor customer service. They change the room type and give you a pull-out sofa bed, calling it equal to a queen bed. If you disagree and ask for what you have paid for (Two queen beds for 3 adults), they will give you a hard time. There are better hotels very close to this one with excellent customer service.

The beds. The drain on our tub didn't drain, they did sort of fix it. The rooms were really nice and the beds were great. The restaurant was terrible. We really felt we got a bargain.

It was bright, clean, smelled fresh. The beds were the most comfortable. Shopping and dining was directly across the street. Love it. We we checked out I wanted to let the front staff know how much we enjoyed our stay but there was not the receptive opportunity. Enjoye the Hotel. I am travelling back on a business trip and have booked the same hotel. Very pleased, I always recommend Priceline.com and have never been dissatisfied with my hotel.

Convenient location, good value, swimming pool was clean. Rooms and halls are old, staff could be friendlier.

Good location a block from St. Laurent Center. Not a bit shabby. Elevator access cards did not always work. Very nice high rise hotel. Nice views of city. I could see all the way to Parliament hill. Only 1 block from mall and transit way. Pool is clean and attended, but small. Rooms are very nice, have refrigerators and free Internet.

staff were friendly and accomodating and the WiFi connection was great. It was a long cab ride to my conference. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything I needed: iron and ironing board, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, WiFi that was easy to log in to with good consistent connectivity.

Location, price and convenience to travel route. I was successful in getting the price range I wanted for the room was upgraded to a suite by a very friendly and efficient member of the Chimo staff. My wife and daughter were very satisfied as well. Steve North Bay

Comfortable and well located. Quite happy overall with the hotel except the room we were assigned, has a leaky faucet and the handle was very hard to turn from cold to hot. Other than that no complaints.

Big rooms. Bed uncomfortable. Liked this hotel very much. Did not use pool but it looked inviting. Clean, big rooms. Only complaint was bed could have been more comfortable.

Convenient location for business, and not downtown. Hallways could use some freshening.

Room was clean. The room smelled like a old smoking room. We did not have a good experience at this hotel. First, when we entered the lobby the cleaning staff was at the door and he smelled like body odor which made the whole lobby smell. It's not a good 1st impression. Then the desk staff did not say hello or welcome. They spoke so fast that I had difficulty understanding her. She didn't let us know how to use the elevator it was two 8 year old kids that did. The room was cleaned but smelled like an old smoking room.

It was a great location, especially if you are driving to Ottawa. Hot tub was set to high. Overall this hotel was great. It met all my expectations and there were absolutely no issues with checking in or out.

Great location Business centre. Much better stay this time - previous stays have had problems such as dirty rooms and unhelpfull front desk staff, however this time was much better - very clean room, and friendly staff.

Free parking. Dirty glasses in bathroom. Loud air vent. No free internet in lobby. Good if you are just in town for business.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Wished the pool was open in the morning.

Convenient location, large room, comfortable bed. The air conditioner from the adjacent room was audible and annoying. Noise from the hallway was also a problem. Lovely lobby and very friendly and responsive staff. Fast elevators. The room was very spacious and a nice bonus was a small refrigerator. The room was noisy due to the wall air conditioner from the adjacent room and also noise from the hallway was audible. No free breakfast or newspaper.
