By car: Exit M1 at Junction 11 and take A505 to Luton. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights, then straight over roundabout. At next traffic lights, turn left. Hotel is on right (Behind PC World). Transfers are available on request 24 hours per day. The hotel will arrange for a taxi to take you to the airport, therefore please remember to arrange this when you check-in. Journey takes 10-15 minutes.

helpful staff and always good value for moneyI got stuck due to car breakdown and the staff and the manager were extremely helpful. I've stayed many, many times and the rooms are modern and clean. Easy to find from the motorway and has a great decking balcony to enjoy drinks from bar outside now.

A pleasant stay overall, definitely best in the area. Would go again. The interior is better than you'd think than going by the picture of the outside. Food is excellent. Service was only average - could be more proactively helpful and also better in dealing with those who don't speaking English very well.

Convenient Stopping PointThe hotel was conveniently situated not too far from the M1. Basically it did 'what it said on the can', a clean, pleasant hotel with personable staff, making it a pleasant alternative to the usual motel-type experience at the same sort of price, if not a little cheaper.

MJB surveyThe executive room I ordered was not what I received. However the room had not been in use for sometime,the carpet was covered in marks of god knows what, the bath was not a walk in, so I did not shower for 2 days, only a body wash. Next time I order I will ask to see the room first because I am a little disabled, I need the walk in bath to get to the shower. As we were only for 2 days just put up with it.

Typical example of what you see is not what u get!!I was pleased with what I saw on late rooms site but my disappoint began as my stay progressed at The Chiltern Hotel Luton AirportI feel that The hotel extremely let down laterooms.com who where the 'link'/representation to the hotel.First impressions of the The Chiltern Hotel were pleasant. Both the outside and the lobby area.The staff seemed nice but it soon becomes apparent that they provide a sub-standard customer service. They fail to give you relevant information for the services you should receive for your room/stay. Such as parking and wf-fi procedure.Further more I did not even get the executive double room that was advertised and none of the amenities!!! When booking the room it stated that there would be a fan, flat screen t.v, wi-fi, tea & coffee facilities plus extras, etc, etc.What I actually got was nothing of the sort. No fan, an old dated big t.v, no evidence of wi-fi, no extras, a DIRTY room including sheets and a ripped inside out duvet cover!! A Small poxy room which was poorly decorated (completely the opposite to the pic on both their official site and that on late rooms), no breakfast card and no soap in the shower dispencer. When I made the duty manager aware that the room did not appear to be right (even though I called beforehand to check everything since I booked on-line) I was made to believe that it was the room. The situation became an escapade of phone calls and door knocking to show me a room that was of the same standard, then one which I could see, then couldn't see (as a mistake was made and it was under maintenance). Staff still insisted to show me.I was then spoken to roughly by management for proceeding with the staff who came to door even though it was not my fault that his managment did not communicate to him and he clearly did not understand when I was explaining the situation/asking if he came to show me a different room. This whole experience was tiring and a clear show

Good value for weekend accommodationWe turned up on a Friday night and they were very accommodating when we wanted to have a small meal at the restaurant before going out.Be careful when checking out though, as they charged us the £20 deposit even though we didn't use anything. We checked our transaction reciept against the hotel receipt and the hotel one was what the cost should have been - so please check before leaving!!!

The hotel is in major need of a refurb, when I arrived it looked shabby, the decor is that of hotel trying to punch above its weight, not very nice and the room was even worse. I wished I had stayed in a Travel Inn as this offers better value for money and rooms are by far more superior. The food was truly truly awful, I had \"creamy srambled egg with smoked Salmon\" when it came I picked the whole of the scrambled egg on the fork, it was one big lump, smoked salmon was cooked in the egg so therefore went rubbery. Then followed Rst Beef with Rst potatoes, beef over cooked (never offered a choice, tasteless veg abd deep fried round chios that were sipposed to be a rst pot. I then tried Apple & Rhubarb crumble, only there was no rhubarb in it, waited ages for it then served with a packet custard that was lumpey. I never finished any of the courses. The waitresses serving were pleasant enough but never saw any signs of management!!!!!!!! Breakfast was a similar experience, AWFUL. Definately would have better at the travel inn.

It was a rather unfortunate experience staying at this hotel. The room was extremely large and had wonderfuly comfortable chairs. In the terms of room size and quality this was a great deal but we received no chamber maid service for the two nights we stayed and the hotel staff told us to clean the room ourselves. We complained and asked for new bedding and towels which the hotel staff told us to change ourselves but it took them a further hour to send up to our room. By that time my husband and I had fallen asleep on a sheetless matress and were then far too tired to change the bedding ourselves. The Duty manager had not read our booking details properly and ended up checking us out one day early from our room when all our belongings were in the room. He offered no apology and blamed a computer error. Breakfast was not a enjoyable affair either because there was not enough food or re-fills for the guests. The coffee was stone cold and when asked for re-fill this was done very late towards the end of the breakfast period when we had finished. The orange juice was not re-filled at all and the guests had to settle for apple juice. When asked for additional cuttlery or mugs during breakfast, the staff made their displeasure known at the request.Finaly when we came to pay and check out there were a number of guests who were complaining to the Duty manager who would not offer an apology to any of them. When we asked for a re-fund because of the lack of chamber maid service and that we had to clean our own room for two nights the Duty manager refused. I said I would not stay there again and as my husband and I left the hotel, the Duty manager CHASED after us all the way through to the car park and would not let my husband leave until he ranted at him. I had to sit in the car waiting for my husband and watched him being told off by the Duty manager who had not concept of customer service and offered not one apology at any time. He actually had the nerve to say that we had

Room was very cold, even with the heating on, but this is probably a result of the age and design of the hotel - lots of glass!WiFi connection useless - this hotel needs a decent booster system. Wifi is available in the lobby, but that is not always convenient.Reasonable value at the discounted rate.Good parking, close to M1, easy to locate on your first visit.This is a good choice as an overnight stop if you do not definitely need an internet connection
