What are your breakfast options?

A Healthy Start breakfast is available daily from 6.30am weekdays and 7.00am on weekends serving a light continental buffet with a hot dish of eggs at $15.00 per person. For those on the go an Express Breakfast of Espresso coffee with either banana bread or muffin is available at $6.50.

What can I do nearby?

Take in the sights along the Foreshore promenade and explore the harbour. Stroll through Wheeler Place and enjoy the cultural sights of Newcastle’s Civic Precinct. Newcastle Regional Art Gallery is also only a short stroll from the hotel boasting a wonderful collection from local and international artists.

There are many dining out and entertainment options to keep you busy during your stay. Visit the cosmopolitan Beaumont Street, sip cocktails and watch the ships and tug boats from the Bars and Restaurants at Honeysuckle, enjoy a late night coffee on the ever famous Darby Street with its many cafes and restaurants.

Sunny days are best spent at any one of Newcastle’s famous beaches. Explore the rock pools at Newcastle Beach, take a swim off Nobby’s Beach and brave the crashing waves with a stroll down the break wall, enjoy freshly cooked fish and chips at the Bar Beach Kiosk or stroll down to Merewether baths – the largest Ocean Baths in the Southern Hemisphere

What transport is available to get around?

Chifley Apartments is located within 250 meters of Civic Train Station and 300 meters to the closet bus stop on Hunter Street. There are however many cafes, bars shops and attractions within a short stroll from the hotels front doors.

Secure underground parking is available from $18.00 overnight. Alternatively there is street parking available, however it is metered 9.00am – 5.00pm daily.
