What are your breakfast options?: We are offering a complimentary Continental breakfast to all of our guests between the hours of 6:00am - 10:00am. The breakfast consists of juice, coffee, tea, breakfast pastries, and fruit. There is also an abundance of restaurants in the area within walking distance.
What traveller type is most suited?: This hotel is primarily for families and convention attendees (we're about 2 miles north of the McCormick Convention Center).
What transport is available to get around?: We have a free shuttle service that makes regular runs to the Museum Campus (in the morning) and to the Art Institute, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile, and John Hancock Center.
What can I do nearby?: Within walking distance of the hotel, there is the Museum campus which consists of the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium. About 6-8 blocks north of us is the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park.
Do you have internet?: We do offer wireless access at the Essex Inn. There are three speeds available, 256kbps (free), 1Mbps ($8.95 for 24 hours), and 2Mbps ($12.95 for 24 hours).
