Date of Stay: July, 2009

WE were sight-seeing during this trip and the hotel was near the highway (without major roads being visible from the hotel) and it was a short trip to anywhere we wanted to go. The resort had a great view of a small lake, a golf course, and Cheyenne Mountain. We were there during the 4th of July and we got to see 3 different fireworks shows (from different areas around the mountain). The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

It has stunning views, privacy and easy access and parking. The Cheyenne Mountain Resort offers scenic views, private decks, spacious and well-equipped rooms and many opportunities for active-minded visitors.

The room had a beautiful view on the mountains and the golfcourt/trees. The staff is very polite and willing to help you. It was a nice big room with many facilities. If you want to sport there is a lot to do. A good place to give your self rest and some movement.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a beautiful hotel located in beautiful surroundings. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful view of the mountains and golf course. You can't beat the private balcony to sit and watch the sun rise while drinking coffee brewed in room or from the gift shop. Everyone I came into contact with at this hotel was smiling and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and very affordable. The bar setting was nice also with TVs for watching college football or NFL games. The grounds were very well kept. This hotel is close to downtown attractions. I willl most certainly stay here agaim. I upgraded for a King room and would recommend the upgrade as well.

Beautiful views and great location. The lake was unavailable for canoeing which was disappointing. The hotel/resort was gorgeous. I was not impressed with the buffet however.

It was a beautiful setting among the mountains. The resort itself was beautiful. We went to the Friday night seafood buffet and the Sunday morning brunch both of which were beautifully presented and had a nice variety of food. The dining room has a magnificient view of the mountains. My only complaint was, the shower pressure was very low.

Stayed here 2 nights on business based on the hotel website. Looked like a upscale resort and was certainly priced like one. Such not the case. The main hotel is nice and rooms in the main facility are probably nice, however there are a number of detached buildings use for rooms which are older and poorly maintained. The non-smoking room I was given had been smoked in and I intended to ask for a different room after an evening meeting, but was too tired to deal with a move and decided to wait until the next day. I returned after business the next afternoon only to find a message on the phone that I had been charged 150 for smoking in the room. I took it up with the desk clerk who said it would be removed from my bill. Only at my suggestion was I offered another room. Both rooms were well worn with dirty carpet. The furniture in both appeared to be hand-me-downs from nicer rooms they obviously save for customers who pay more. Plan on hearing people walking and talking in rooms above and plan on hearing doors slam at all hours. I was glad to leave and shocked when they told me I owed an additional 150 that was suppose to have been removed from my bill. I protested and they said they would remove it. Amazingly, they asked if I wanted a copy of my bill - which made me wonder if they intended to leave the 150 on my credit card. This facility is touted as a luxury resort and is no better than Super 8 or some Motel 6 I have stayed at.

I liked the fact that all / most of the local attractions were within 20 minutes from hotel. The last day of our stay the house keeping seem to slack off, the room was not cleaned properly, trash was left behind, beds were messy. Overall we had a great time and would go back. It is very nice and close to everything. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings.

This hotel has an excellent view of the mountains. Each room offers a very comfortable balcony. The food is great. Personnel in the hotel is very, very friendly. I plant to stay at this hotel each time that I visit Colorado.My only problem with this trip was the weather.

The staff, restaurant, lobby, are all exceptional! I sent a letter to the hotel with my concern. The hotel is wonderful as always. Perfect view of Cheyenne Mountain, beautiful lobby and wonderful restaurant. The rooms in the older lodges could use a minor update but nothing too extreme. I will return to this resort this year, it is the perfect place to just relax.

This is a nice, clean place, but for the money, not fantastic. I was VERY surprised that they did NOT have complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Most cheaper hotels do provide complimentary shuttle service, but this place charged me 30 round trip.

It was a very nice room. Not much for us to do on the property. Nice area and close to restaurants. could use more T.V. channels. Sinks in the rooms could be a little lower for short people! We had a great time.

Awesome bed, linens, towels, robes, room lay-out. However, disappointed because I forgot to check the shower for personal items & left expensive, brand new, facial cleanser there. Would have been nice to receive a call to see if I wanted it shipped back to me. Also, per media left in the room we found out that the resort had a daily buffet..

This is the 2nd time in 3 years that I have stayed here. The rooms are nice. The balcony gives you a beautiful view. The breakfast and lunch buffet at the hotel restaurant is one of the best I've exoerienced in my travels. The down side is finding your room. It's a large compleax and you need a vehicle to travel from your room to the conference facility, bar and restaurant.

The Cheyenne Mt resort was a gr8 choice. Super facilities - pool, gym & grounds, comfortable rooms, location (close to everyhting - pikes peak, garden of the gods, cave of the winds, Co state fair etc)and nice staff. Dinner (seafood buffet) & other food (coffe) very good but expensive ($120 for family of 4).

The hotel offers many activities. We had a very nice stay at this hotel. They offered wireless internet for free which is a must. The hotel offered many activities and is close to Pikes Peak and Seven Falls. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
