BrilliantWe've just returned from spending 3 nights here. The room was very nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were really good as well. The house is in a very good location on the edge of Whitby, with great views over the countryside. Robin and Tanya were very friendly.

review of Cherry Blossom GuesthouseExcellent value for money. Robin the owner was very friendly and helpful and Tanya is an excellent cook. The breakfast choices were like those in a 4 star hotel. The room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The guesthouse is in a quiet residential area and is in an excellent location for visiting Whitby and the surrounding area.

We were warmly greeted by Robin and shown up to our room; very high standard of decor and fitments. In the morning breakfast was more than ample even for those with a large appetite;overall the accomodation couldn't be faulted and we would have no hesitation in booking again when in the vicinity.

If in Whitby don't stay anywhere elseI read the reviews for this before we went and I would echo everything they said. Great reception, great room and great value for money. Robin and Tanya run a great little guest house and the breakfast was amazing. Even my girlfriend who had the veggie option was impressed. I would stay here again whenever i stay in Whitby.

What a gem of a placeI would recommend cherry blossom luxury guest house to anyone.Robin and Tanya went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, they are such a lovely couple. We have nothing but praise for the place, spotlessly clean. comfortable and an absolutely humongous breakfast.........very very nice.If you stay in the glaisdale keep an eye out for the barn owl, we saw it two nights out of three in the field behind the house.

Highly recommended guest houseIt has taken me quite a while to get around to writing this review but I felt better late than never because it was worth commending to others. Myself and a friend stayed in one of the twin rooms for one night at a recent bank holiday weekend, which was made even better by the fact that we booked it quite last minute (day before!!) and didn't have to stay somewhere second rate. As we arrived quite late in the evening Robin recommended places that we could eat in Whitby that would still be open and we were very happy with our choice of an Indian restaurant. The guest house is a little further out of Whitby than I anticipated but this didn't affect our stay, as had we arrived earlier we would have taken a stroll in and got a taxi back and the next day we were checking out anyway so could drive into Whitby and park for the day. In my opinion the guest house does live up to its name as 'luxury' as there is a great deal of attention to detail and the owners are very friendly and willing to be of assistance. It does have a cosy/homely feel with it having 3 rooms and the breakfast was also fabulous!

Excellent accommodation near whitbyVery quiet room at the back of the property with views over the countryside. Very well equipped, with overhead fan, luxurious shower, large flat screen TV. On top of that the bed was so comfortable, probably the best bed we have slept in!

Super B&B!We felt 'at home' immediately with Robin and Tanya and this, to me, is the most important thing about staying in a B&B. The food was excellent, including a hoome baked 'treat' awaiting our return each day, and the delicious Russian pancakes that are included with the superb breakfast. It is in just the right location to explore this fantastic coastal area. Don't miss out if you are looking for somewhere in this area to stay. You won't be disappointed.

brilliantfrom first impressions to last goodbyes nothing was too much trouble, the room was large and very clean, breakfasts were for the big appetite, although no problem to have a smaller or alternative to the full english. Its a 15 minute walk to the town centre which is fine as you can leave the car there and its safe as parking is very restricted in the centre of Whitby.Very nice touches and pleasant surprises ! Very helpful and informative. All uphill coming home at night so a taxi is best and cheap option. Cannot fault in any way, all the other guests said the same. Highly Recommend.

An excellent stay at the Cherry Blossom luxury guest houseWe recommend this guest house for anyone who enjoys good quality accomodation and excellent food. The Cherry Blossom \\lives upto its name as a Luxury Guest House. The Breakfast was exceptionally good together with the complimentary home made Russian pancakes and dessert dishes that were left in your room for teatime. Robin and Tanya were delightful hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely return for another stay.

Short stay at Whitby We stayed for 2 nights May 2009. The rooms were very clean and warm , Robin and Tanya worked very hard to ensure our stay went well.Breakfeast was excellent and the trifles and Muffins and real treat. If you go into Whitby it's worth booking a cab (£4.68 each way) was cheaper and easier than parking in town. We also went to the Heart beat village and had dinner in the Magpie on the sea front both very good.If you book through late rooms remember although you give them card details they don't take the payment you must pay Robin direct. Will stay again next time in Whitby: Thanks Robin and Tanya.
