Clean but minisculeThis accommodation was small in the extreme, described as being suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. When standing, there was little room to move, small suitcases taking up most of the floor space. The only place to hang a few clothes was some hangers on a rail and as for drawers there was a small bedside cabinet with 3 drawers which would hardly hold colthes for one person let alone 4. Beds, clean and comfortable, consisted of a double and 2 bunks. During a 5 day stay towels were not changed and bath was not cleaned, nor cleaning materials supplied. If this is the standard of what to expect from late deals I will not be using this service again.

not happywe would not reccomend this hotel, we booked this in the view of all of us getting a breakfast, we only got very basic food, there was no central heating in the bedrooms, only a fan heater which kept on cutting out!! the service from the hotel owners were non existant!! we feel very let down by lateroom and the named hotel.

stay at the chatsworthwe were pleased with everything at the hotel except the size of the room we were givenas my wfie is somewhat claustrophobic it spoilt it for her to a degree.we are both in our seventies and therefore found it too far to walk into town, however we did use the promenade bus service during the day although it didnt run late enough for us to stay in town late which we would have liked and therefore had to use taxies.

Well kept and in a very convienent locationClean, well organised, ideally situated for most of Scarboroughs attractions. I.E. within easy walking distance of the beach, Peasholm park, the model railway, in door baths etc

A seaside jauntThe room and food was as described. This is a cheap and cheerful hotel, which was ideal for a getaway to the seaside. The position of the hotel meant it was close to North Bay, and very close to Peasholm Park, which made a good evening walk. My daughter and I found the accommodation comfortable, and clean, and had no complaints.

was very disapointedThe hospatality of Steve and staff were very friendly, after a misunderstanding of the booking ie ; phone call bout being overbooked, (of which his vacancy sign was lit up all wk end )could i come another wkend. The room was very basic, and overall could do with a revamp.our bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together.????We spent the 2 nights listening to extremely loud noises from the room above us, which was annoying sounding like kids jumping off bunk beds, whiuch went on till gone 11pm.I think the hotel as such should be downrated to a B&B,There was no lounge to sit in, and watch tv or read a paper.the breakfast was as it stated, but saw no yogurts, everything was self service, the staff appeared on an odd occasion to top up the milk or bread.the orange juice was diluted juice, which i think had a dash of orange in.Overall experience was disapointed, cheap and slightly cheerful.3* no way, only thing i can say positive it was clean enough. and would i stay again NO!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Chatsworth for one night whilst popping up to visit family in Scarborough. When we arrived there had been a plumbing problem with the double/twin room we had booked therefore was given a small room with bunk beds. Was quite funny trying to hoist ourselves up onto the top bunk. Unfortunately no discount given for the change in booking, also was not notified until we arrived. The room was very small with no chair and only 1 cup but other than that it was a very pleasant stay. The continental breakfast is very relaxed, easy going and in a nice dining room which good views. The hotel is very close to the public swimming baths, beautiful Peasholm Park and easy enough to get an open top bus to the seafront which only takes about 5 minutes. Perfect hotel if you are looking for safe, clean place to stay!

After booking on line and getting confirmation, I was shocked to find on arrival that there was no room for me. The owner (by phone) admitted it was their fault and told me to try in one of the 200 hotels on a nearby road. At 7pm this is not what you need.

Spurious reason used for not providing a cooked breakfast - breakfast consisted of diluted juice, cheap cereal, cheap bread cheap teabags etcToo many rules & regulationsOnly 1 very small towel provided per person, again spurious reason given for this
