The hotel is located right off of Highway 29 in north Napa so it's very easy to get to Yountville (we were going to the French Laundry for dinner). Since we really only needed a bed, we decided to save money and stay here. First, the place is not that cheap ($160/night with tax). It's basically a glorified motel, but it's just very very run down and in desperate need to updating. The towels, comforter, mattress, pillows all need to be replaced - they have just plain worn out. The check=in was friendly and efficient. This place just needs work - not to make it fancy - just to have it keep pace with Hampton Inns/Courtyard by Marriott or other hotels in this price range.

The location was great for the wineries we wanted to visit. The hotel needs an upgrade badly. Although it was clean and neat, the pillows and such were in poor shape.

I checked into the Hotel around 10 pm, the service clerk was very helpful, gave me my room key, and directed me to the exact location of the room. The room was clean, and comfortable. Check out was simple and fast, clerk was nice

The first room reeked of cigarette smoke so we asked for a new room. The room we got was facing the main highway so we heard cars all night long. The comforter was thread bare and looked dirty. The carpet was orange with stains all over it. The curtains were broken and hanging off the rod. Breakfast offered was a package of danish you buy at Costco. A horrible experience.

From the very rude front desk clerk when we first checked in to the nasty stained carpet on the rooms floor, to the hole punched in the wall and no one to clean our room for 2 days. It was awful. I did although have a great experience with the front desk staff for the rest of our stay, they were very helpful.

This hotel has not been well maintained and, although clean, was not very good. The staff were not very helpful.

The hotel obviously needs some work and was substandard as far as I was concerned. The location was in an area you couldn't even take a walk. Bad choice overall.

Hallways dark and dreary, outdoor trash was full and not emptied in the 3 days I was there, neither was the ashtray at entrance. Morning breakfast was below par, with tiny (6oz) inferior coffee cups that might require 3 refills to get your heart started in the morning. The pool was clean and refreshing. The darkness of the rooms, halls, in such a sunny location gave you the feeling that your vacation was going wrong. I mentioned to them that they had an underground water leak in the parking lot, because I was trying to help them prevent a disaster. My help was not well received, until after I told them that I had the same exeprience with my restaurant and I lost 250,000 gallons of water. I would not stay there again, nor would I recomend staying ther to my friends. My exwife, sure I would tell her to stay there. I was not terribly unhappy, but neither was I thrilled to be there.

Although this hotel is just off of the 29, it is pretty quiet. I had a room that was directly on the street and still pretty quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable. The toilet and shower was separate from the vanity area, which was nice. The desk clerk wasn't what I would call friendly, not rude, I guess it would be called indifferent. If I have anything bad to say, it would be that.
