A warm welcome awaits you at Channel View a charming terraced Guest House built in 1827, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just 15 metres opposite Weymouths award winning beach and just 15 minutes walk to the town centre and other local amenities. Most rooms are fully en-suite and some benefit from beautiful sea-views across Weymouth Bay.All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, clock radios, mini coolers, towels, toiletries and dressing gowns. Each room has electric heaters for the colder months and fans are provided for the summer. We do accept children and can provide travel cot with bedding and a highchair at a small cost.We have a light and airy dining room overlooking the sea, and a guest lounge is available for your use. We offer a hearty full English breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruit juices, toast and jams. Vegetarian options are available and also early breakfasts if required..We are a non -smoking Guest House .All major credit and debit cards accepted. Wi-Fi is available on request.Check in times are before 2pm (subject to rooms being ready) and after 5pm.Parking is available on the road outside from October 1st to June 1st subject to availability. During the summer months we will be happy to show you where to park.

Room with a viewScrupulously clean and well maintained, with an attention to detail and equipment provided that would shame most of the managed chain hotel groups. The perfect seaside guest house. The owner hosts are to be congratulated on ticking all the right boxes.

a room with a view of weymouth bay.given that this accomodation was booked on a referral,i cannot express too highly ofthe reception and service we received during our short stay.the proprietors were very attentive and helpful and always placed our comfort and needson a high agenda.the cleanliness and comfort of the accomodation was first class,we would most definitelyuse this venue again and have no hesitation in recommending it to other parties.top class establishment.

Friendly Guest HouseWarm welcome on arrival. Compact room which was okay for ovenight stay, though had we been staying longer we would have needed a bigger room. Very clean and smartly presented room. Breakfast was good and set up us up for the day.

Good value accommodation.Stayed in the single room at the front of the Guesthouse with wonderful seaviews. Room somehow had shoehorned into it everything that you would normally wish for although it was decidedly cramped with no real room for suitcases etc. This was not a problem for a short stay but could have been for a week or more. Nevertheless excellent value for money and would definitely stay in this Guesthouse and room again.

A room at the ViewAlison and Martin made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely little guest house with nice views across the bay, pity we had a rear facing room though. Our twin room was what could be called compact but it had everything we needed for our short stay although we dont think we would have enjoyed it as much for a longer stay. However it did represent value for money and the breakfasts were certainly worth it, the choices were enough to have given us a different one everyday for at least a fortnight!A good place to stay for a weekend break.

Good value GuesthouseRoom contained everything you could normally wish for albeit slightly on the small side. We were only there one night so this was not a problem, but for longer than a week it could have felt cramped. Proprietor and wife very friendly and helpful. Excellent location virtually right on the beach and easy walking into the heart of Weymouth. Parking a bit of a problem in the summer but would normally be OK outside after 5-30pm. Would certainly stay there again.

Handy good ferry stop-offVery helpful owners. Early full breakfast no problem. Room rather small but had everything and good quality. Rear rooms have main road noise. Breakfast good.

Bank Hol Weekend On The CoastFrom the minute we arrived in Weymouth, we found that this family-run guest house was easily located, very welcoming and in a superb location. Owners were very friendly and helpful with all information and more on the area and things to do. Breakfast was plentiful. Really recommended!

Compact room, but compensated by location and touring in Dorset day trips to the Channel Islands. An excellent beach-side location, quiet but still within a 5 minute walk to the harbour, town centre, pubs and clubs. I would recommend this place especially for stress relieving meditational sounds of the waves. Martin and Alison were very friendly, caring and helpful hosts.

Friendly hosts and helpful and ready to give advice. Room and en-suite facilities small and cramped. Excellent location but parking a bit of a problem. When full parking restrictions are in operation (for main season) this could present a major problem.

Following the reccomendationsFollowing the reccommendations of the reviews for the Channel View on laterooms, I was very impressed. We have no complaints, and the atmosphere was so friendly. We highly reccommend the Channel View and will be delighted to stay there again. Next time we will book early to reserve a room with the sea view. Yes, it really is 15 yards from the beach, and amazing value for money.

Very friendly and clean, room very small but we only used as one night stopover. The owners made great efforts to please, despite our late arrival were efficient and helpful. Small room but it was well equipped and the whole hotel very clean and tidy.Will certainly stop here again next time we go through the ferry pot at odd times.
