I stayed here for 3 days I had an interview with a company and this hotel was close. The room was great I had a microwave and fridge in the room I was not expecting to have that in the room as the site said its extra but I was not charged for this. the pool by my room looked clean I did not go in it as I was here for work relations. The staff was very helpful and the room was cleaned everyday. Would stay here again if I get the job till I fine a rental home.

The pool was pretty dirty. This hotel use to be a Howard Johnson.

Heated pool. Hotel was OK, but was too far out of town, no amenities and close by within walking distance.

Champions was a great place to stay. We stayed there the night before we checked in at Disney. Room was nice and clean. ONLY PROBLEM, THE ROOM WAS CHEAPER THERE AT CHECK IIN THAN WHAT I PAID THROUGH the on line website . $* CHEAPER. This has happened to my mother in law twice. That's $* after all fees and everything.

I stayed in this hotel over President's Day weekend. The hotel was very reasonably priced for the area. Although it is an older property, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The covered pool area is very nice, as is the tiki bar. The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable, with great quality for the price. I especially liked the omelet station. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. Overall, my stay was very pleasant.

It was an OK Hotel for the price. It was old but very clean and the rooms were small. I would not stay there again

Orbitz had not informed the Hotel about my reservation and I had to wait about 45 minutes before they were able to solve the problem. It appears like ORBITZ had the wrong phone number, wrong fax number and wrong information about the hotel in their system. Apparently, the Champions Hotel Resort changed that information and ORBITZ had not changed it in their system. We had about ten friends waiting outside to go to a dinner engagement and they had to wait, very patiently, until the Hotel was able to contact ORBITZ to solve the problem. Aside from that incident, the hotel facilities were great. Rooms were very large and clean and everything else was just great!!!!. Make sure that all information about the hotels in your ORBITZ system is updated. It does not look right to arrive at a hotel with a confirmed ORBITZ reservation and to hear that IT IS NOT IN THE SYSTEM!!! When we showed the internet printed information, they were forced to find out with ORBITZ what was wrong. It took them 45 minutes before they were able to solve the problem. As another hint, Hotel should offer "free breakfast" to remain competitive. All hotels in the Orlando area offer FREE BREAKFAST!!!!!

Playground. Housekeeping used dirty/smelly rags to clean bathroom. The 1st day was bad, I was given the wrong room (no sofa bed), then had to wait for an hour after checking in while they got another room ready, I was literally waiting outside the room. The room key was not programmed, so I had to make 2 trips to the front desk to get it programmed the 1st night we were there. After that, the rest of the 4 days were fine (other than the dirty rag smell).

As an employee of an airline , I travel quite a bit and have stayed in all sorts of hotels some good some bad , nothing like this though ! Upon arrival at the hotel a quick view around the surrounding area enroute made me a little hesitant , not in the best of areas. Arriving into the hotel found a very outdated and rather run down , dirty hotel. The rather large Hotel needed extensive work both inside and out to bring it up to even good standards. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, and room safe at the cost of * per day extra. The bed was in need of discarding along with the linens and carpet as well. Complimentary continental breakfast , was Frosted Flakes and juice , not even coffee. Complimentary transportation to the area parks were scheduled and ontime. I booked this Hotel as a last minute pleasure trip to visit family , I am very aware of risks in staying in a "cheap" hotel but for the money spent , stay anywhere else but here !!!!

The hotel is lovely and terrific for families. My room was next to the pool so it was a bit on the noisy side.

It was close to attractions and had a very friendly staff. Annoying maids that can't understand the do not disturb sign on the door. The hotel was very nice and so was the staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that annoyed me was the maid knocking on my door asking if we needed room service even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Overall though, it was a good experience.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very out dated, stains on the walls, door has big gap on bottom when closed, very easy for whatever animal to come in. It was just very run down and could stand a make over. We were also charged a fee each day, not sure what for as we did not use the shuttle everyday. Shuttles run on a very limited basis.

It was a good overall experience. The only thing that ruined the stay was when I decided to order pizza from ORLANDO PIZZA EXPRESS (It was one of the fliers that was under the door. I ended up ordering the pizza and lasagna from them, and the only problem was that the Pizza had BARELY ANY CHEESE AND NO SAUCE. It was a little bit colder than Room Temperature at this point and all I wanted to do was eat. I dont know how what I ordered is called a lasagna. The cheese covered literally 10%. It had no layers and they DIDNT include a fork to eat it with. Not to mention I was supposed to get garlic rolls with the dinner and didn't . I asked the delivery boy if there was forks included he said yes they where inside. (Im still looking for them). I ended up calling back after I noticed there wasnt any forks or rolls and the guy was very sincere and said they would call the driver to bring back some forks but that they ran out of garlic rolls. WAY OVER PRICED and I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN ! I called again and they gave me some B.S. excuse saying that the driver had gotten into an accident that they'd get my information and try to attend to me promptly. WORSE PIZZERIA EVER! ORLANDO PIZZA EXPRESS DO NOT GO !! Other than that the hotel has a decent bar and they also have Karaoke on certain nights. They have a convenient store within the resort. Parking was very easy compared to other hotels. Nice shower head and soap smells really good. Didn't have a microwave or refrigerator, but it did have an ironing board and iron (thought that was kind of strange). GOOD OVERALL STAY, WOULD GO AGAIN.

I loved the room set-up, it was very comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was not cool enough even when we changed the temperature. Great rooms, excellent service, great location, and family friendly environment.

Got there at 2:45 & would not let us check in until 3:00. Shuttle going to parks stopped at 12:30 (noon). I was scared to sleep on the bed as the sheets and pillow cases were all wrinkled. Blanket was all ratty. Fan in bathroom was VERY loud. Heard all highway traffic. I will never stay at a HJ again. This place was a dump. The pictures make it look nicer than it is.

Comfortable room. Breakfast. Great hotel.
