Recently restored, the house has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard. There are double, twin and single - bedded rooms to choose from, all en-suite and equipped with cable television, coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryers. Lunch and dinner are served in its recently-opened restaurant. Offering home-baked bread, fresh salads, daily seafood, vegetarian and seasonal specials, it is fully licensed, with a wide offer of French and new world wines. Traditional Irish cuisine - with Irish Stew, Beef & Guinness Stew and Celt Coddle, among others - is served all day in the bar. In the evenings, pay a visit to the Celt Pub, famous for its fantastic atmosphere and traditional Irish music every night. Located right next door to the guesthouse, you won’t have to travel far at the end of the night to get to your cosy bed.

enjoyed our stay at celtic lodgethe room faced the front of the hotel. we had no problems with noise as previously written by guests. the people on the front desk were very very helpful, providing us with print-outs for the bus services. the hotel was very clean, the breakfast in the morning was excellent. the pub downstairs/next door was fab, good singers on every night and the bar staff very freindly. the glass collector could have smiled, im not sure if she enjoys her job or not.

Highly Recommended!This is an excellent B & B - well positioned in Dublin - clean & tidy & very friendly staff. Only 3 small down sides- 1. VERY TINY bathroom - 2. VERY uncomfortable bed/matress - 3. Breakfast (Full Irish) was a little greasy & the sausages were TINY! (PS a full irish breakfast should include potato bread, brown soda or wheaten bread & mushrooms.)I have no problem recommending this to anyone wanting a clean, friendly & inexpensive place to stay in the centre of Dublin.

Having spent 2 nights at this hotel with 13 other lads I can safely say that the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is good there is a pub next door and it offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again myself.

having read some of the reviews for this hotel after we booked we were very worried !!! on arrival we were very pleasantly surprised,the staff are all lovely,helpful and very friendly (although the man in reception wasn't amused when we wanted to go out for a kebab at 4am!)This hotel is great value and we found it to be a very central ideal location.The only criticism is that the bathrooms were really tiny,ok if you're a size 10! but we all had to stand in the shower to dry as no room between the sink and the door,getting dressed in the bathroom wasn't easy ! the actual rooms were fine and ours was a good size,very clean and decor was fine.all in all a great value hotel,we will be going back next year !!!!!
