We stayed here for three nights. Superior deluxe room, something like that. Two bedrooms, balcony. The pool is great. There is also a Sauna as well. Took full advantage of the Chinese massage in the basement for 138 yuan, came to about 37 dollars I think. Was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and the professionalism of the staff. I even made friends with the guy in the Lobby, really nice. Say hi to him for me if you stay here. Also, my friend really wanted to eat McDonalds, so he asked them to order McDonalds and they did, they brought it up for us. Really impressed with the quality of this place as far as the price was. I will definitely stay here again. Actually I'm going to Shanghai again soon, so yeah, if the price stays the same, I'll be there.

Facility - Pictures shown on the internet do not reflect current condition of hotel, but hotel is generally very clean. Seems to me 3-star at best. Rooms are really small. Bedroom wall had obvious signs of water damage, and the beds are very hard (I found out that is the norm in China). We got a "superior" 2-bedroom suite, which was really just the 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The beds basically took up the entire bedrooms, so you have nowhere to sit but on the bed. Shower stall was small and not sealed properly, so you cannot take a real shower without flooding the bathroom area. Water temperature constantly flipped between cold and very hot during your shower. The sole sink was in the bathroom, so if someone is in the shower, another cannot brush teeth while waiting. Amenities - Restaurant was not impressive. On-site spa and indoor pool operational, though we did not use them. Staff - Friendly and helpful. Not very proficient in English, so I am not sure how the service would be if I did not speak Mandarin. Location - In Puxi, but is a distance to most tourist attractions. If you are adventurous enough to use the subway instead of taxi everywhere, you will still need to walk about 10 to 15 minutes to the closest subway station. However, for someone like me who speaks Mandarin, the walk was an opportunity to speak to locals and check out how they live - you can buy local snacks from street vendors, drop in at local restaurants that do not normally cater to tourists, and check out local supermarkets. Tip: Although the stay was paid in full during booking, the hotel will still put a hold on your credit card for incidental charges.

I was very disappointed with this hotel, first, 2.5 star most, no kitchen as said, very dirty on the floor, customer service is worse, I was waiting for Airline deliver my luggage, very tired can't sleep, keep calling bell service about the deliver status, no one answer the phone for 2 hours, I called the oprater for front desk, she said front desk is not handle luggage questions, until after 12:15 AM, I have to sleep, bagged the operator to let me talk to front desk since I can't hold bell desk, the front desk found the bell person asked about my luggage, and my luggage was there long time ago with no one call up to my room to me know, I will never ever stay this hotel again!

I've stayed here before on extended business so I was happy to stay here again on this trip. Hotel is very clean and in a good neighborhood with lots to see and do. Staff is friendly and try their best to be helpful. The apartment suites are great.

We stayed 7 nights. The first 4 nights were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite, like a fully equiped apt with kitchen, wash machine, a study, dining table and a large sitting room with two belconies. They didn't charge extra. But you need to borrow the kitchen equipments, dishes, utensils and pots are not provided. The last 3 nights, we got what we paid for, 2-bedroom with queen size beds, 2 extra closets and a bathroom. The rooms are tight but sufficient. As you enter the room, the bedrooms are a couple steps away with a small hallway. It's on a good and convenient location, with different types of stores nearby. The better restaurants are a couple of blocks away. It's definitely worh the money considering how expensive other hotels are in Shanghai. It has a restaurant but we didn't eat there. It also has message facility in the lower level, inexpensive and provides good service.

The staff is good, They only give one towel and one pillow per room. If you want more, you need to request for it. The shower is clean, for a low price hotel in China which is a pleasent supprise.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful - not everyone was fluent in English, but there was always someone available to interpert for us if we needed additional help. I found the rooms a little on the small side, yet very clean, and the beds were very firm. It seems like the Chinese like their matteress hard and for me that was good, but if you like your bed soft, this could be a problem. The shower had good power and was roomy - although it drained very slow and did become clog. When we reported the clog it was fixed the same day as it was reported. The bathroom also had a washing machine (no dryer) we did not do our own laundry while we were there but we did send laundry out to be done and was pleased with the results - everything was clean and nothing had shrunk... We had pre-paid for our stay and I was surprised that we were required to put a deposit down based on how many days we were staying; yet, whenever we ate meals a tab was kept as well as the cost for our laundry service and any money we did not use was refunded at the end of our stay. Exchanging money was very easy here. The front desk had the varies currencies and their conversion rates posted and were up to date and fees were minimal. You could use ATM machine but our credit card would charge us a small fee for converting and exchanging at the front desk was cheaper. We usually ate breakfast at the Hotel resturant and found it very good. The staff was very pleasant and helful. Over all we were pleased with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Overall the hotel is pretty good. But rooms are really small. Hardly any space left to put your luggage. Staff is friendly & helpful but speak very little or almost no English. Breakfast at the coffee shop is a big no-no but their lunch & dinner a la carte menus are ok. What I like about this place is they have a massage palour until 2am daily:-)! Cheap & good. One more thing: many taxi drivers have not heard of the hotel so make sure you have the hotel's business cards in hand. You need to give the street name and its cross street.

I had stay in this hotel for more than 2 weeks and is a really enjoyable experience. The staffs are helpful and friendly. Housekeeping will call everyday at about 4pm if they had not made the room. (I had left a do not disturb sign at my door) Very good service standard. Room is very new and pleasant. I really enjoy my stay in this hotel and will be back to stay again if I am in Shanghai.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom and we found just that. Two bedrooms with a 6 foot hall connecting them and a bathroom at the end of the hall. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if we had kids. The funny thing is we called to make sure it was what it said it was, we just assumed that there would be a couch or some sort of sitting room. The bathroom stunks of urine so bad, I cringed when I had to use it, we definately kept the door shut. It still stunk even after the cleaners came. I don't think they used any chemical to clean. I am not a super picky person, but I do like clean and I like it when things don't stink of urine. I did my homework and read all of the reviews and they all say how clean this place is. Maybe I need to go and stay in a cheaper hotel. I would definately upgrade next time and stay at a nicer place. I would only recommend this place to someone on business who will only sleep here, because the price is not bad. Hope this helped.

"I was supposed to be upgraded to a suite since I booked for more than 4 nights'stay. However, the hotel receptionist did not understand English and shortchange us with a small standard room despite our reminder to her that we were supposed to be upgraded to 1 room suite. We notified the manager. He was apologetic and waived our internet charges for our 6 nights stay. At least he had saved his hotel's reputation with his sincere act. Just be prepared that the hotel's staff inadequate understanding of English do make mistakes."

My father and I stayed at this hotel recently mainly due to our unfamiliarity with Shanghai. Check in went smoothly but I found the staff to be fairly inflexible in accomodating guests. We requested a change to twin beds but they were adamant in refusing any kind of option even though we were willing to pay for changes. The receptionists seemed methodical but unwelcoming to guests. The bright spot were the doormen who were helpful and willing to call taxis for us. Overall it was an OK experience but there are probably better deals to be had elsewhere.

"Not really the ideal location but finding taxis was not a problem. For the price, its great. Rooms were large and clean although finish was shoddy (paint peeling in one corner and electrical box left open with wiring). This is a service apartment, not a hotel so hotel like service (helpful concierge, room service, good housekeeping) was missing. Good facilities for workout and massage."
