This place is a timeshare. The rooms are small but clean and the staff is kind and pleasant. We chose the ocean instead of the pool everytime we wanted to swim. I would never swim in any pool in Hawaii because the ocean is 1000 times better. If you need to save money then this place is for you. The kitchenette is small but it was perfect for the two of us. ABC stores and restaurants are a short walk away. There are 2 propane barbeque grills in back next to the pool for everyone to share. Our chicken barbeque came out perfect. Our hamburger barbeque came out fantastic. They only ask that you scrape off the grill when you finish cooking. The activities coordinator is truly amazing. We did not buy any event tickets off the internet and did not need to use any coupon books because she was able to beat their prices. She also gave us tips that were incredibly helpful and cost saving. We rode the bus instead of renting a car. The bus cost 2 bucks and it was easy to access. There is a free waikiki trolly but we never rode it. We took the 40 minute timeshare meeting and saved an extra 100 bucks off our activities. That was in addition to the discounts that were already applied to price she got for us. She said we worked hard to save our vacation dollars. She was there to help us get the maximum value out of our dollars. I recommend you meet with the activities coordinator as soon as it is convenient to plan your time. Taking the bus or a shuttle for most destinations instead of a rental car is a no-brainer.

Old furnishings and TV. Since I traveled as a single; I was given a smaller room than the majority. All my requests were for courtyard; but I got street side!! Implied that internet and phone included in quoted rate; instead I was charged additionally $3.99/day!!

Can't begin to explain how happy We were with our stay. This place is a hidden gem. Sure its not the four seasons, but for what we paid it certainly seemed like it. Loved it. Right in the middle of everthing waikiki has to offer. Staff was great, they really made our stay pleasant. Nice grounds in the courtyard. Cab it and rent a car for maybe a day or two max. There are buses and trolleys everywhere but pretty much everthing can be reached on foot. I would definitely stay there again.

this hotel was perfect for my trip -- could not have asked for more. has a nice kitchenette with fridge, range, microwave, blender, pots, pans, plates etc... great if you want to bring quick easy meals with you and save some money on meals. staff is awesome and more than accomidating. hotel is conviently located to shops, beaches and bus lines. its not a five star fancy room so dont expect that, but my queen bed and pull out sofa sleeper was more than comfy enough! nice place for friends or family travelers. If i had to knock something about the hotel is that in my room the shower (no tub) was a bit small and built for those of us who are shorter, don't know what i would have done if i was 6 foot. don't know if that was uniqe to my room or not. event planner is on staff and they have events you can attend at the hotel some for free, some for a small cost. great because the first morning, they give you a free breakfast and overview of the island. great hotel, would stay over and over again!

Older style Hotel. Absolutely wonderful staff. Very helpful with a wonderful sense of humour especially once they got nearly used to my Kiwi (New Zealand) accent. Stayed 5 nights. Found a wonderful Bar across the road (2.oo Maitais...hope the spelling is correct) from the Back Entrance and also a very well run and friendly internet

I was very happy with our stay at the Celebrity Resorts / Honolulu. The hotel was in a excellent location near shopping, restaurants, and Waikiki beach. There is a fun little Karaoke bar right next door. We found ourselves stopping in for a couple drinks and a song each night before going to bed. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The pool / hot tub area was quite nice and tranquil. The beds are not the most comfortable, but what can you expect for the price? Overall, I feel this hotel provides great Bang for your buck! I would definately stay there again if I was on a similar budget.

The Celebrity Resorts looked kinda shady. After checking in, we were plesantly surprised at how wonderful everything was! We had a 1 bedroom/1 bath on the 2nd floor. We were at the end of our building & our view was of the hot tub. Our room was big & the kitchen was nice. We slept on the bed in the living room with a sleeper sofa. The staff was friendly. The pool was small, but rarely were many people in it. Everything is within walking distance. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. It was a pleasure staying here, loved it!

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii thanks to the great experience we had with Celebrity Resorts Waikiki. Everyone at the resort was very helpful and friendly, the room was excellent and the kitchenette helped us to save money so we could spend it instead on extra activities, gifts and other purchases. Although we did not end up taking advantage due to time constraints, Celebrity Resort had several fun offerings for guests including a free scuba lesson in the pool which was very impressive. The resort is only a couple of blocks from the beach, less than a block from the International Marketplace and 2 blocks from the local grocery store so everything was just steps away. We would definitely stay at Celebrity Resorts on any future trips to Waikiki!

Motel Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and safe. Free Wireless internet in the rooms, and Internet/PC/Monitor/Printer available for guest use at the front desk. Bus stop is a mere 1/2 block away (Seaside and Kuhio) from the airport you can take bus 19 or 20 right to the motel (we did for 4 bux...otherwise you will spend $40 on a taxi). Very centrally located in the heart of Waikiki Beach, perhaps 2-3 blocks off the beach. Room 250 was very pleasant with 2 queen beds. We actually paid for 6 nights and got 1 free there with an internet code. Classic condo rental with all amenities/utensils/etc... in the room and MAID SERVICE INCLUDED EVERY DAY (more than I expected from a condo rental). Parking is a premium in Waikiki and very limited at Celebrity for $10 per night. If you have a car plan on spending 25cents per ten minutes on the street in front of the motel...after 6pm and all day Sunday is free (everyone knows this as well...we parked around 5:30 pm each day we didn't have a celebrity spot.) There are parking garages available nearby from $6.00 per night up to about $18 per night. Don't stay here expecting Posh Luxury and an Ocean View, you will be severely disappointed. Functional, safe, nice courtyard with a swimming pool, spa, and barbecue available. Coffee at 7, and an activities specialist on location. I would stay here again without hesitation. I advise seeing Diamond Head, Atlantis Submarine, Whale Watching, Giovanni's Shrimp truck on the North Shore near Pipeline and Sunset Beaches, Hanami Bay/Beachpark (closed tuesday so the fish get a day off), Rent a car or plan 4 hour busride to the north shore, Dole plantation, heli trip from northshore.

G the manager, and J front desk manager are super people. The resort is kept extremely clean, the service staff make you feel like family. The location (center Waikiki) could not be any better. Great location and close to restaurants. A at the front desk is a KICK, he is funny, and also very helpful. The pancake breakfast on Thursday was a great ice breaker for us at it was our first full day on the island. The hot tub was nice, not too hot (just right).... The pool and surrounding area as you can see in the photos is also a great gathering place for the residents. This resort is a must for our return trip to the islands. THANKS EVERYONE, YOU ARE TRULY COUSINS...... Raymond and Elizabeth Penrod

More like a single apartment than a room. There was nothing missing. All the comforts of home. Close to the beach and the center of all the action. Far enough away for quiet sleep at night. Very satisfied customer.

I was extremely impressed with staff and facilities at Celebrity. The property is very well cared for and the staff was far above the other services we received in the Waikiki area. Parking was a little tough but the manager went out her way to get me a spot when one became available. The concierge service is knowlegable and very helpful even if you don't choose to book through them. This was our first time to Hawaii and when we get a chance to go back, Celebrity will be the place we stay!

clean and comfortable with lush tropical view. we were 10 steps from the hottub. It only takes a minute to get in the front or out the back to the road. City bus picks up on the same block. I would rather stay here then the hilton.

The celebrity resorts is a nice little gem hidden amongst all the other hotels in Waikiki. Don't expect the rooms to be like the ritz because you will be dissapointed. What you can expect is a smile on every staff members face and a cool clean room everyday. One thing to check in to is to request a downstairs room facing the pool so you can enjoy the evening entertainment. Overall, I would have to give them a 4.5 out of 5. My wife and I enjoyed it so much here that we actually bought time share so we can come back more often! Thank you Celebrity Resorts!

"The Celebrity Resort Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. As one of the previous reviewers said it is the perfect home away from home. The staff was fantastic :) They have different activities during the week such as pancake breakfast, scuba lessons, coconut painting. etc Located two blocks from the beach and one block from the International Market Place. Close to several restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Waikiki."
