As for the beach area location was perfect, but the room was flooded with light at 6AM in the morning. We would have loved to sit on a balcony to enjoy the cool breeze privately. Also we didn't like the fact that we arrived early but were unable to get a room until after 5PM. The staff could have been a little more friendlier, particularly the ladies that were there when we checked in. The young lady that checked us out had a very professional attitude, it was warm and appreciative. She made me feel like returning to the hotel again.

Located on the beach. They were under construction. Great location footsteps from the beach. Spacious rooms and very accommodating staff.

My husband and I went to Celebrity Resort in mid March,'09 and really enjoyed our stay there. The front desk clerk was warm, gracious and very helpful. We got our unit on the internet and got a very good price. The unit was oceanview and had a kitchen, living room area and it was a good size. It was very close to the casino that my husband wanted to play cards at. I got to use their indoor, heated pool in the a.m all to myself and it was really terrific. Also the restaurant for breakfast right there was not only convenient but good food and service and obviously popular cause it was packed. We will definitely return... The ocean, pool, convenience to Atlantic City and good price, great service, lovely very clean and comfortable place...what more would you want? Yes, the place is old and needs some work but we want clean and got clean, we want comfort and got comfort and the staff was very nice and the price we got...well we would have paid triple if we went 10 minutes further into A.C. which I personally think is a dirty, ugly town and our view was the ocean... no comparison.

Nice to be near Atlantic City without being in it.

The hotel and the price was very nice and reasonable, however, one of the employees told me that it was a timeshare and I have been to several timeshares and the rooms are emaculate. These rooms need to be updated very badly. Some of the stuff is very outdated and the plumbing is not good at all. The shower started backing up in the sink.

The hotel itself is old, but our room was redone and we had an ocean view. It was wonderful!

After checking in, and going up on a very creaky elevator, and viewing the dissapointing ancient room, we went back down, in the other elevator which sounded like it was going to crash. We exited the lobby to go out for dinner, and a car pulled up to speak with us. They indicated the signs about temporary inconvienence for permanant improvement, and asked what the improvements were. We were at a loss to reply. They said they had stayed a few years ago, and said it was a dump. We concurred. I only blame myself because I was looking for cheap, and you get what you pay for. We would book thru Travel website again, but not this place. The people in the car said that their experience is not good at Celebrity Resorts. We are not time share holders so I have no experience with that.

This place was absolutely great. The rooms are huge for the price and location of where you're staying. Best part is that you walk out the hotel and you are about 50 feet from sand and the beach. The Laguna Grill had great food and a pretty lively nightlife on a Saturday, although a little pricey but worth it. This place is going under renovations, but this was hardly noticed. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is also only a very short cab ride from the casinos. I definitely recommend!

The room was for no better word NASTY. I had to leave I couldn't even stay the night. Glass shards in the heater probably the window broke and they did not clean it up because there was a lot but if you turned on the heater it would have shot out at you. Wall paper falling off in the bathroom from mold and water damage from a leak in the previous years. I knew I was in trouble when riding the elevator up to see the room a lady said she was horrified by her room and when she complained they gave her another room that was even worse. So after looking at the room I ran to the store to get air freshener then called RCI and told them I was not staying there for my 15th anniversary and I would drive 8hrs back home right now if they did not get me another hotel so they did. RIght down the road at Brigantine beach club. Had a great time after that. I could go on about this hotel like no wall under heating unit (I could see the outside brick wall). That was the new construction so I can't hold that over them really except to say why didn't they finish it. I truly beg them to fix this before they try to rent it out and I feel sorry for anyone who stays there.

This hotel is under renovations, which I understood when I arrived. My wife and I stayed here previously and the accomodations were nice. However this time when we arrived the room given to us was very undesireable. I wanted my wife to enjoy her birthday weekend and in this room there is no way she could have enjoyed herself. The room was very small, you could lie in bed and reach the kitchen. The curtains were old and falling apart, the rug was tattered. The room was a total disaster and there was no way we could stay in that room. We vehemently complained to the front desk, after trying to tell us that was all available. They finally offered us a room in their Villa at the same rate. I must say the villa was excellent, very spacious and had all the amenties of home. It was complete with, microwave, refrigerator dining room and bedroom with a balcony.I believe once the renovations are completed this would be a good place to stay. Its right on the beach and only 15 minutes from Atlantic City, though we didn't gamble we enjoyed the many shops available at the outlets.

"The place was a great location - right on the beach! The price was FABULOUS! Our room was nice, but apparently the hotel was completely under renovation (and desperately needed). I would love to go back and stay again when construction is completed."

"The kitchen in the room was a great help since all the restaurants were minumum $40 a person (sans pizza joints). The rooms haven't been updated since the early 80's and appeared to have been heavily influenced by Miami Vice colors. The plumming hasn't been updated since 40's??and needs some work. Obious area of water damage throughout hotel; again I think they need to update plumming. Other then needing a good updating, nice hotel. I could see where the poor look could really bring you down during a long stay."

"With a nightly rate of just over $*, I was expecting something quaint, and clean. The kitchenette was nice, although the microwave didn't work. The shower was filthy with a huge clump of hair stuck deep down in the drain. Also, the floor turned out to be more comfortable than the lumpy mattress on the bed. However, the ocean view was nice, and the restaurant next to the hotel (Laguna Grill) was nothing short of OUTSTANDING! All in all, the room was serviceable. Though, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for an extended stay."
