We visited my daughter who lives there. We also did some shopping and spent some time at the beach. Our stay would have been more enjoyable if we would have been closer to the water. Our trip was a very enjoyable one. I've only had one better vacation where we stayed right on the beach, Over all we loved it.

The service at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean and very neat. The only problem that i had was with the sliding glass door, the locking mechanism was malfunctioning. We called maint. and they responded right away. The problem re-occured when we opened the door later that night, but we were able to get it to lock without calling anyone.

The front desk personnel was very friendly and organized. Didn't have to wait long to get to our room as everything was ready and waiting on us. The pool was great. My kids has a ball. Overall hotel standards and accommodations were good. The furniture in the living area was a little worn, but other than that everthing else was great.

i wanted to thank the market cafe staff they were superb especially [...]. the managers could have been alittle friendlier they didn't smile much. i read the comments before i went there and the construction co. next door is not a problem. as a matter of fact for a construction co. they were pretty clean and quiet. housekeeping was ok they need to clean better but, not horrible and all friendly. we drove out to certain areas. destin and panama city lots to do. if you need a car pre-arrange when we got there they only had one car left out of about six car rentals. overall i give cayo and their staff cudossss!!!!!!thanks.

The hotel was excellent. We were very satisfied with everything. It had everything we needed. It was worth the money for the comfort of the bed alone. I would stay again if I had the oportunity.

We were pleasantly surprised when we unlocked the door to our room at Cayo Grande Suites and found that we had 2 bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 baths and a full sized washer and dryer. We thought we were getting a one bedroom one bath, but with two small kids it turned out to be so much better. There were an abundance of closets everywhere. The mattresses were a little firm for our liking, but they served the purpose. The location was great. We were close to everything but far enough away that it wasn't too noisy. The pool area was nice and very child friendly. Really, our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, liked separate bedroom. Bathroom was not very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The free, made-to-order breakfast was great. The room was huge and the bed was soft. Only complaint was that the bathroom was not very clean. The location was within minutes of shopping and maybe 15 minutes to beaches.

I travel on business quite a bit and try to take my family with me whenever possible. As such, I tend to travel in suites and extended stay rooms for the amenities provided. The room was well stocked (better than most) but was absolutely filthy. Having a stocked kitchen is of little value if you have to go to the local store to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room yourself. The shower curtain was mildewed looked as though it hadn't been replaced in years which was a stark contrast to the newer look of the rest of the suite. The bath supplies were top notch, too bad we'll wait until we get home to use them. The location is nowhere near the beach - not an issue for business/military travelers but could be serious letdown to beachgoing vacationers. After what sounds like a negative review you may wonder why I gave it such a high rating. The bed was wonderful and with the exception of some housekeeping issues, this hotel/resort could be an oasis of class in an otherwise sea of mediocre local hotels. I hope the management of Casa Grande reads these reviews and make the needed changes soon - I would like to return but would hope I wouldn't have to clean every square foot of the room myself next time.

With our 10 month old, this room was perfect for us. We had plenty of room to set up his protable crib. Also, very large closet space and washer and dryer located inside the room we stayed in, which was perfect since we were going to the beach everyday. We stayed in this room four days. Very wonderful atmosphere for our family. The pools were very nice. The staff was wonderful and the dining was ok.

Hot breakfast, Jacuzzi tub, private room. TV was very small and no remote. Hotel is clean, convenient to stores and beaches. Pool and grounds were well kept. Security on site was great!

I really liked the whole stay. Most of the staff was extremely friendly, aside from one person. The room had a washer/dryer, MULTIPLE TOWELS, anything you could possibly need to make a full meal (pots/pans/measuring cups/baking dishes!) and we had a spacious living room and a separate bedroom. It was worth it...a little far from the beach and the nightlife, but with a car...it's worth it.

I liked the layout of the room with the French doors and the bathroom, it felt like home. I did not like the breakfast, it wasn't seasoned well. I enjoyed the stay at this hotel, I had free WiFi connection, pool accommodations and the location was great.
