Weekend BreakEverything about the hotel and room was what was expected, breakfast was good with more than enough to keep us going for the day. the hotel was situated in a quiet part of the resort and we were able to get parked easily just outside the hotel.The only thing that dissapointed us was the size of the bath towels, they were small ( minor complaint )

Cavendish Hotel mini BreakThe Caverndish Hotel Esplanane Road The hospitality given was excellent value for money we could not have wishes for better, we will definately return for a second Holiday at the Caverndish Liz and Rick Burnley

Cavendish Hotel ScarboroughAn adequate B&B, fairly near to the town centre. No problem to us, but an uphill walk back if you are unfit (possible bus service). Parking could be a problem on occasion - disc zone with resident facility, but not always space available near to hotel. Evening meal not available nearby except an Italian restaurant; this was excellent, but not to everyone's taste, or within a restricted budget.

My girlfriend and I arrived on Thursday 12th February to a very snowy, chilly Scarborough. This was quickly put to rest after a very warm welcome to Cavendish Hotel by Anne and Bev, who were very helpful, generous and polite - the perfect hosts'. Many thanks to you both.Room was clean, warm and had a very comfy bed with additional pillows and covers ahould we need them.Loved the shower too and made use of the ample wardrobe and drawer space which was fantastic to see.Parked nearby and the parking ticket is sorted out on arrival, so don't worry about that. Park as near to the hotel as you can and check in, thats my advice.An Italian Restaurant was recommneded to us by Anne, called Tuscany Ristorante - on the corner of Esplanade Road, was totally delicious and would recommend it, we enjoyed it thoroughly.Breakfasts - wow, amazing!! My girlfriend prefers Apple Juice, and after the first morning thats what was placed on the table every morning, little things like this go a very long way to a revisit in future. Breafast included:- Choice of cereals, grapefruit, Fruit Juices, Toast, a choice of Tea/ Coffee and Bacon, Egg, Tomatoes, Baked Beans, Fried Bread, Mushrooms, Sausages. Think that covers it all - we were well satisfied to start the day, excellent.We can't say how highly we thought of our stay, only we will return soon and would recemmend couples and families to give this lovely hotel and the kind people who run it, due consideration.

Hotel was basic but adequate, clean and owners very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious but the room was extremely cold, no heating on all weekend anywhere in the hotel.

The hotel was in a good locationfor the South Shore and for walking in to town/sea front. The bus in to North Cliff etc was only a short walk away. The room was quite small but as it was only for one night it was more than adequate. The staff were very friendly and the owner even apologised for there being a slice of smoked bacon on my wife's breakfast. We would certaily stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

A warm and friendly greeting, combined with spotless clean rooms, nicely furnished without being 'fussy'. An excellant full english breakfast all went to make for a very enjoyable and relaxing short break. I most definately recommend this hotel and would be pleased to make a further visit

a nice place to unwind and lie back from your normal routine ,nothing was a problem ,bev always giving good advice on where to vist and whats on in town . parking no problem near hotel
