A Value For Money HotelI would recommed the hotel to anybody who is thinking of staying there, it is very clean and great food and the staff were very nice and I would say that the hotel is real value for money.

The swimming pools are opened to Public! Therefore it can be noisy at times. Toiletries in the room were not replenished on most days.

Great hotel, good location, pity about the staffOn arrival we were disappointed at not receiving the room which we had expected. We had booked a room with sea view overlooking Spinola Bay, but were given a room to the front of the hotel on the street, with a side sea view. When bringing this to the notice of the reception staff, I was told here is your key and the lift is over there - very dismissive and discourteous.A bit of diplomacy and a nice smile would not have gone amiss!

the hotel had all the facilities of being central but being out on its own peninsular into the bay it was quiet, the accommodation and service was faultless.

Not too shabbyGreat location, reasonable price. Try to get a room with a pool view and you'll get a great view of Spinola bay from your room. The breakfast is good, everything you could want. Rooms are nothing fancy but clean.

Overall A Good Hotel and Would Go Back AgainThe hotel was perfect for our trip. Location was excellent just a short walk to Spinola Bay and Paceville and the bus stop to Valletta within walking distance. View from balcony was great - the yachts, the swimming pool was warm enough for me (I don't usually go in them). Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, clean towels every day and room was also cleaned every day. Food was typical buffet breakfast, on some days they had pancakes and omlettes the other days was the usual sausage, bacon, eggs, cereal, fruit etc. Downside was the tables were not always laid out for breakfast and the staff did ask you to sit somwhere else as they had laid the table for dinner (at 9am). Tea was the same buffet style but still ok. The pool guy was a bit fussy. The other English guests were all friendly. Bring your own spoons for your coffee and tea as none in the room. TV only had 1 movie channel in English which was a bit poor as a lot more available in Italian. Reception staff were ok, didn't really need to use them but found that when I asked one lady to check us in on our flight home she didn't seem to be interested in helping us as an Italian group where booking trips through her and she obviously wanted to make some commission out of them. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Great Stay at these prices! Thanks to Laterooms we picked up two bargain rooms. The hotel is well located and has a super sun deck area and terrace overlooking St Julians & Sliema. Rooms are modern, quite compact but more than adequate. Food is ok, not exceptional but great for the price. Will definitely stay again.

quality of cateringAlong with many other guests we spoke to, we were particularly disappointed with the quality of the food provided which let down an otherwise clean and well appointed hotel.Everything seemed to have been selected with cheapness as the main criteria. For example ,the fruit juices at breakfast were so lacking in flavour that it was impossible to differentiate between them, pastries were cheap and stale, bacon was almost all fat and the cold buffet consisted of inedible cheese and most budget type of processed meat.We considered the evening buffet but were apalled at the poor quality and lack of choice on offer, so ate out instead. Fortunately there is an extensive range of good restaurants locally so we survived!!

Problems with booking. The hotel would like to take money from credit card without our confirm. I told them I'd like to pay by cash, but it isn't possible at the hotel. they told me to go to an agency. However hotel is great and position is fantastic

Cavalieri experienceThe hotel is idealy situated for some very nice restaurants within short walking distant. It is right on the water's edge and we would be happy to return.

TravellexWe travelled as a couple and stayed five nights. We hired a car and travelled the small island and can say this location is the best we saw. The hotel has a large Marina to one side and Spinola Bay to the other (which is preferred), so you are almost gauranteed a waterview from your room, our being large, bright, modern and airy. The waterfront location, facilities and room accomodation are the strongpoints. The service is medicore, apart from the front desk which was helpful. The food again is average, though we just had breakfast, and we noted some complaints about the evening meals. A 50metre walk along the waterfront will bring you to a cluster of good quality cafes and restaurants. Also within a five minute walk is 'Paceville' the Islands liveliest and noisiest nightlife. Overall the hotel is excellent value for money and would recommend it for the location and room accomodation alone.

very pleasant stay, nearly flawless, stay pratically perfect.very pleasant stay, friendly, helpful and very available. remarks: - Arriving 8 pm, we learned that the tap water is not god for drinking, a bottle of water in the small fridge would have been appreciated. the lounge bar was not opened. - Air conditioning made a little unpleasant sound. - The room was made every day, but has not been swept sometimes. - The cleaning women should knock on the bedroom door before opening it ... Note: the side the rooms facing the sea are on north side, rooms overlook the harbor and nearby construction sites, certainly cooler in summer than the Bay side rooms, which may have the pleasureof the sun and the life of the Bay and the city in cool season.

Consigliato!
