Catton Old Hall - would definitely recommend staying here I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Large comfortable room with recently refurbished modern bathroom, lovely finishing touches eg gilchrist and soames toiletries, sewing kit, perfume, cotton wool pads, shoe cleaning kit. Also free internet access which is not always available in other hotels. The breakfast consisted of local produce and several choices on menu. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good accomodation, a little dated but perfectly good. The accomodation is spacious in the room I stayed in. The decor is a little dated and the television is woefully small for the size of room it is in. The breakfast was delicious and the customer service sincere and extremely polite. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here despite my nit picking.

A couple of days in NorwichAccommodation was excellent. We were very late in arriving and there was no moodiness from the owners. We could come and go as we pleased. They were very helpful and friendly, and it made our stay very relaxed. Very good breakfast as well.

Simply PerfectFirst class accomadation, great food. Forget that other reviews mention that the hotel is in a residential area, it is not out in the wilds but it is still a great looking hotel inside and out. Very comfortable rooms, and super service made this a great weekmd away for us. We will visit again.

A titleLovely place, off the beaten track; much to commend it. Open fire and an honesty bar. Spotlessly clean.

Would recommendAlthough this is a B&B, there are lots of places to go for an evening meal which are recommended by your host. Room was very spacious and bathroom luxurious. Would recommend. Breakfast good quality and tasty.

No complaints whatsoever about the hotel and would stay there again if I need accommodation overnight near Norwich but the hotel is placed in the centre of a large housing estate.

Very nice accomodation with everything required, a touch creaky but to be expected considering the antiquity of the building. Room well appointed and supplied and owners very helpful and polite.

Catton Old HallCatton Old Hall provided a standard of luxurious accomodation and personal friendliness from the owners that I have never experienced anywhere else. It was quite simply outstanding and the room my wife and I occupied was the sort that one dreams about or sees on the TV: the only thing missing was a ghostly figure gliding about in the early hours - although we may well have been too sound asleep in the huge but comfy bed to notice it. I will look forward to my next trip to Norwich and hopefully, if accomodation is available, make it into a mini break.

A premium price for a premium experienceCatton Old Hall is a wonderful B&B in the middle of a nice residential area. The price is high but what you get is truly astonishing. I have stayed in very good hotels for business but in no way did they come anywhere near the experience I had here.Truly exceptional room. A good sized, comfortable bed (although you never get as good bed as the one at home) and the bathroom was fantastic. Jacuzzi bath, his and hers basin. It was very clean and tidy. The people who welcome you are very nice and are willing to help at almost any time. Breakfast is supurb and obove what you expect. All in all, please visit this wonderful place for a special occasion and you will not be dissapointed. And as for the couple of bad reviews, these must either be competitors or people who you cannot please!

The best room we have ever stayed in. The owner was very warm and welcoming and ensured our stay was everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice. I loved the little touches of the books on the table to browse through while waiting for our breakfast to be cooked. We really enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been longer.
