Catembe Gallery Hotel sees itself as a lifestyle Hotel, a tropical home, away from home. We consider ourselves a boutique hotel, and we cater to those seeking soul and intimacy in accommodation. It´s not about all the life enhancing, weekend away trimmings; it´s about the experience both inside and outside the hotel itself. It is in fact the X-factor that keeps us inspired. Lined all across the walls, rooms, and furnishings of our hotel, works of some of Mozambique´s most famous and ‘up-and-coming´ artists are found. From sculptures to paintings, and from carvings to photos, The Gallery Foundation assists many a local artist. We have been known to provide grants in form of materials, and regularly purchase and exhibit the artwork of artists both from Catembe and all across Mozambique. The hotel has 13 rooms in total, (thereof 9 rooms are doubles, 2 are triples, and there are 2 penthouse; a three bedroom and a five bedroom) The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the beach. If you have any valuables for safekeeping, please contact reception or use the safe in your room. Use the hotel's business suites. If you have any requests please call our friendly front desk team. Those arriving by car can use the hotel's own parking spaces. All rooms have a television, telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has non-smoking rooms in which we will also be glad to place a cot for your little ones. Seven rooms in the hotel have their own bathroom and a and a balcony. Most of the rooms are air conditioned and have wireless Internet access. Pamper yourself with a massage in between sessions in the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Plough a furrow through the water and keep fit in the sun, in the cooling waters of the outdoor pool. You can book a beauty treatment in the hotel.
