Transportation:

Take the district line underground to West Kensington. As you exit the station turn left into North End Road and then take the second on your right Castletown Road. Castle Town House is no 11 Castletown Road the entrance of which is in Challoner Street on the corner of Castletown Road and Challoner Street on the left hand side. By Road take the A4 - The Great West Road - over the Hammersmith flyover into Talgarth Road - still the A4 and then turn right into North End Road and pass West Kensington Underground station on your left. Continue as above.

Ideal for the purposeOur room was a small basement room but with plenty of light and a door onto a tiny private patio. It was tastefully decorated and there were lovely personal touches - a bowl of fruit, fresh flowers and tea/coffee and bottled water included. Cooking facilities and equipment were great, bathroom newly refurbished (though the shower was a bit wimpy). Our hosts were helpful and available and offered us use of their computer if we needed it. It was ideal as a weekend base for exploring the area or for work/earl's court etc. You probabably wouldn't want to spend hours in as it is very small, and you wouldn't want to share with someone you didn't know well, but we thought it was excellent value for the money. Only suggestions - please fix the curtain and put in a loo brush!

Small but perfectly formed.Great accomodation. I has a studio, which was compact but very adequate. I have paid more to stay in much smaller, rank hotel rooms in Earl's Court. The quality of the furnishing, finish and cleanliness was very good. I will definitely use this next time I'm in Earl's Court.

Great apartment, clean, tidy & secure. Excellent location close to West Kensington station, literally a two minute walk. Host friendly. Washing machine is very handy. As we arrived on Valentine's Day, chocolates had been left on the bed, which was a very nice touch. A bowl of fruit is also left for guests. Would defintely stay again.

Finishing of room was to an average DIY standard as opposed to professional, for example, the laminate floor had quarter-round that didn't quite meet, bathroom tiles high standard but the tiling job was only average for DIY. Room wasn't ready on arrival at 3PM but was eventually cleaned later when we were out.

The studio had everything I could have needed and was fantastic value for money. The sights and sounds of London were easily accessable and I will definently stay there again the next time I need to stay in London.

fantastic room in a great area of london, very close to shops, restaurants and tube stations. Very reasonably priced and having a computeravailable in the room was fantastic. Fresh fruit greeted me in my room as well as a jar of coffee and a bottle of water in the fridge which was fantastic. Will be returning

We stayed in one of the studio apartments which was perfect for us - fantastic service and the son even helped us with our bags to the station. Nice modern rooms with everything you need with a homely touch and they are more than willing to arrange anything else that you may require. Really great location as a short walk from the train heaps of shops close by. Highly recommended.

The owner went out of his way to make us comfortable. Fruit and flowers in the apartment, milk and water in the fridge and coffee and tea in the cupboards. DVDs to watch on the mega TV and games and books if you wanted something else.The only problem we did have was that the water was too hot! Which, if you are going to have a problem, is a good one to have. Also, it would be helpful to provide teatowels, but other than that, it was a fantastic service.
