Considering the price, I was very impressed with the hotel. It was in a good location. Walking distance to the Dome, and not but about five minutes from downtown, if that. The only thing that was missing was a pool and hot tub. I would definately refer this hotel to anyone.

The nightmare started from the second I arrived. The clerk was rude and told me she needed to recharge my card as Travaloisity had not paid the she told me hey had and she would correct it. I was directed to go left down the hall and follow it to my room while carring my luggage the hall lead around in a circle and my room was to the right of the check in down only two rooms. I ordered a non smoking room and all I could smell as stale ciggs and the table was covered in burn marks, The shower had no hot water and the room was dirty. The air conditioning was also broke or fixed not to work on cold.

The price was amazing for 4 nights. There was a fridge and microwave, very convenient, especially because we were there for 4 nights. The location was fantastic we were just 3 blocks from the Georgia Dome which was where I needed to be for my business related matter. Atlanta, as confusing as it was,I was so thankful that Castle berry Inn was so close to the Georgia Dome so at least I knew where I was staying so I could rest and not have to drive around for 4 hours just finding it if that was a case I would have probably been asleep behind the wheel by that time.

Pros: Staff is helpful, restaurant pretty good, location great, matress new and very comfy, wireless internet worked great, though not the fastest connection in the world. Cons: My room did not have a closet, iron, coffee machine, microwave, or mini-fridge. The furnishings are dorm room. Fuzzy 19" tube TV, no features. Bed was comfy but bed linens of lowest grade and no extra blankets to be found in a drafty room. Room heater was of the wall type and made the air so dry I got up twice in the night to choke down chlorine flavored water. Walls are paper thin and I could hear every word said on my neighbor's TV, room adjoined by a locked door. Front desk could not give me a receipt at check-out because their computer was down. It felt chincy, like they ran out of money during the renovation and did great cosmetic work to pretty up a low-quality building. I applaud the effort and they're doing the best they can with what they have, but it's worth it to spend more for a warmer, more comfortable stay with less disappointment.

Very friendly service. I arrived late and had to buzz to get in. Great security. Room was small, but big enough - and it had a microwave and small refrigerator, and a desk.

Great value for the price. It was just a 10 minute walk to the Georgia Dome. The room was small, but clean. We ate lunch at the restaurant next door. Very good food and service. We would definitely stay here again.

Attended BIO at the World Congress Center. The room was so small the only sitting area was the desk, not too comfortable and a poor selection of TV channels. The keycard door to the elevator was broken thereby allowing all to enter (security risk).

I feel badly for people who went here before the renovations, because this was a great place to stay. The bed was nowhere near any doors. The bathroom had a sink in it. The rooms were very clean, and there was even a mini fridge and microwave next to another small sink in a little alcove below the TV. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a good cheap place to stay for a weekend in Atlanta. That goes double if they are going to see a game at the Georgia Dome. Both the Dome and the transit station are about a 1/3 mile walk north of the hotel. There is a Burger King right across the street, and a fancier restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel. There are several other food places nearby including pizza delivery. I also felt very safe. You need your room key to get into the hotel, or else be buzzed in. You also need the room key to get past the lobby to get to the elevators. If I ever need a last minute place to stay in Atlanta again, I will definately check here first.

A really nice little hotel located just a short walk from the Convention Center and Dome. Great value for the price. Heating/AC unit thermostat may need a bit of a tune-up. Huge bathroom has a separate heating unit. My room had a connecting door to another unit which is nice if you have kids or are part of a group. Building architecture blends in with apartment and condo buildings around so its easy to miss but once you find it, its a nice place to be. Didn't have my reservation when I got there but they cleard up the issue very quickly and professionally. Free parking and a neighborhood that needs more development. I'll purposely look for this place the next time I go to Atlanta!

I was in for SEC game. Very close to the dome. Great staff. Hotel is being remodel. Evevything clean. I was very comfortable and enjoy my stay. I will be back in December.

Hotel was close to the Georgia Dome however the surrounding neighborhoods left something to be deisred. Even thou the hotel was less than a half mile from the Georgia Dome we drove to the game and paid to park so we did not have to walk back to the hotel at midnight. Also the hotel was under major renovatons.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS HOTEL! THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS VERY HELPFULL BUT RATHER THAN THAT THE ROOMS ARE SUPER SMALL, THE BEDS ARE OLD AND WORN DOWN, I HAD A ROACH IN MY ROOM, THE WIRELESS INTERNET SEVICE DID NOT WORK...IT WAS JUST A MESS. tAKE MY ADVICE THIS IS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT.

Room did great for what i needed it for. There were renovations going on so it looked a little shabby on the inside. overall nice stay.

Bedding had cigarette burns through comforter and sheets. Bathroom door would not open fully because it hit the bed. Knife wounds in the walls. No cups for the coffee pot in the room, no cups downstairs either. Walking distance to CNN Center, and could not get good reception of CNN on tv. Carpet sticky.

The castleberry inn was great. It was just enough for what I needed it for. I reccommend it to anyone

this hotel was the worst iwe have ever stayed in.the room was super small, the bathroom door hit the bed so you had to slip sideways into the bathroom. there was noise all night long. our daughter stayed in one room and she was scared.this place is for people with little money who need a place to stay and cook in the room.there was a kitchen sink,no sink in the bathroom at all. the cabinets were made of plywood! there was a microwave.the area was scary and the only restaurant was a burger king and it was chained and locked so you had to walk up to the drive through.the staff was very nice but we would never stay here again.

The room and hotel were clean, which is important...and the staff were very friendly. However, the room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen! When the bathroom door opened, it hit the end of the bed! There wasn't even room in the bathroom for the sink- the only one was outside the bathroom. Also, we were apparently in a bad part of Atlanta. The cab driver who dropped us off in the square asked why we were staying there & gave a stern warning to not walk back after dark! Other locals agreed it was dangerous! It was only 1/2 mile walk to the Georgia Dome, which is why we stayed there. The walk, during the day, was very nice! However, I think next time I'll spend a bit more to be in a better part of town & be able to move around another person in the room!

I spent 2 well 3 nights in the Castleberry Inn and it was very pleasurable. The staff were very welcoming and comforting. Also, there wasn't noise. I was peaceful and quite. The rooms were also nice and clean and very comfortable to stay in {espically if you're traveling alone}. I would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget and wants a comfy place to stay. Also, near the great and exciting life on downtown ATL. Only about a mile away from it all!!
