Castle View Guest House, less than 100 metres from Princes Street. We are the most central three star guest House in Edinburgh. This is the house where Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932), author of "The Wind in the Willows", was born! Castle View is a spacious Georgian penthouse apartment on the 1st 3rd and 4th floors of an Edinburgh townhouse. We are a haven above the bustle of the city with lovely views from the front of the apartment to Edinburgh Castle on the right and the Firth of Forth to the left. We are located in the heart of Edinburgh, right next to the world famous Princes Street, so you are ideally placed to take advantage of the many attractions Edinburgh has to offer. We have converted the upper floors of the building and all the rooms have been recently refurbished and offer the best in comfort for our guests.
