[...] made it real easy for me to check my daughter in without having to come back

Very comfortable beds. Beds were twin size. Great room for a visit in Waikiki, HI. Set up as a nice place to sleep, as it should be for such a place. In Hawaii you should be on out enjoying the beaches and outdoor not hanging out in a hotel room.

Unfortunately, the sheets on my bed were too small for the base of the bed and every night they came off the mattress so that I was lying directly on the mattress when I woke up.

Out of 6 hotels in the USA, this was easily the worst. We booked a double room with 2 double beds, got twin singles! Not enough room for our bags, let alone us. The bathroom was so small, there was barely room to get out of the shower to dry yourself. We complained that we'd paid for double beds, so they moved us to the 25th floor which has NO elevator, so bags had to be dragged up and down a flight of stairs. Staff tried hard, but this place is a dump. No wireless internet access to rooms either. Only air-conditioned in rooms, so all the common areas are hot and steamy. The aircons in the rooms are really noisy but you cannot leave them off or the room heats up to an unbearable level. Not worth the money by any stretch of the imagination.

Very noisy high school grad party hotel. Drunk teens all over the place. When asked where we go for the advertized breakfast--the staff told us "the free breakfast is only for some guests" . We were appalled and then they said "not for orbitz guests" I went to the web site to double check and sure enough it said clearly that there was a "free breakfast included". Called orbitz and they refunded and then I went to another hotel. They wanted $18. a night for parking, $4.50 a night for safe use, more money for sauna/pool use. The "breakfast" that certain guests did get was a muffin from costco and coffee with dyhydrated cream. If you go here you are insane!

Stayed here when it was a Ohana hotel twice this past year- got a Kaimaiaina Discount (born in hawaii)Mold around sink and tub; no more free safe, no more free coffee; phone didn't work; poor maid service-didn't take used coffee cups out or wash out for a week; pool is okay-small. They were taking out business center pc's and putting in new but wasn't avail. when I needed it. Warm water-not hot. Raised prices of laundry fac. 2 for wash and 2 for dry. No fan working in laund rm - like suana. Appears this new chain (Castle) has cut back considerably. This hotel used to be a good bang for the buck. We were there on business two other times this summer and it was okay. This time went to bury my aunt and I will never go back there. Higher floors are really warm/hot. Rm cools down with AC on high but warms up if turned to low. All over -- not a great place anymore. Ohana chain was much better.

we were there for a wedding on the north shore, but decided to stay at Maile Sky Court bc it was close to restaurants and shops. the first room we got was dissapointing: the AC didn't work, nor did the remote for the tv. we were moved to the same room 1 floor up, but that room also had its share of problems: tub drain was very slow, the door knob would stick and not open about 75% of the time even though the light turned green when we put in the keycard. we wanted to stay on the same floor as 2 other couples we were travelling with, but we ended up having to climb the stairs from 1 floor to the other for 8 days instead, which was a pain. the hotel only serviced the room every 4 days, which was fine, but when the maid took away the bathroom hand towels, she never put any new ones out so we had to dry our hands on washcloths for the last 4 days. overall, i was a disappointed in the hotel. i expected much more for what i paid. i would've liked to have had a bigger room, a nice quiet AC unit, regular towel service, complimentary breakfast, a big pool and free parking. the good: nice staff, free wi-fi, good location.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and the staff is truly friendly. The only problem is the elevators, very slow.

Hotel is fine for quick travel, but unsavory elements in the neighborhood make it feel unsafe to walk at night. Staff friendly, rooms clean. Better for younger guest.

The cost was good. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

I would highly recommend Ohana Sky Maile to anyone that was looking for a nice, yet affordable hotel!! I was there for 7 days and other than some rude hotel guests, my stay was perfect. Sure, there was sometimes a wait for the elevator, but where isn't there? The customer service is excellent in every area (check in/out, housekeeping, pool bar, etc.), affordable room is perfect for those that are just going to be going to the beach, sightseeing or shopping and not spending a lot of time in the room anyway, pool/jacuzzi were nice and clean, store was well stocked.

just for staying at night for sleeping

Friendly, clean and its economy for the money. None. The rooms were always kept clean by the maids daily. The front desk personnel were courteous.

Good for budget travelers. A/C worked, elevators were fine to the 17th floor (good views), prompt housekeeping, hot water, friendly/helpful staff, TGIF on site, Hawaiian Airlines boarding and baggage check on site, near shopping and Waikiki beach. Many tours pick up right next to the hotel.

This hotel was close to shopping, dining places, and the beach. The room was small, but we were only in there to sleep. Close to the beach and enjoyed the evening walks there. Loved our trip and would definitly stay at this hotel again. Thanks for the Great Trip!!!!

No perks for price customers, e.g. no continental breakfast. Good hotel cause weather do not have send much time there.
