It was nice to wake up every morning to the sunrise and the ocean breeze. We loved to lie out on the lanai in the evening listening to the ocean waves. It was very relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing! Did not want to come back to a very Hot Texas, after feeling the cool breeze every day. It was the best trip ever, enjoyed every minute of it. We drove up the north east side, and took the boat ride up the northwest side to Na Pali Coast.

The view. Shower doors rusty. Overall, great view nice area for walks, comfortable living space and centrally located.

We stayed for 9 days in a third floor one bedroom. No elevator (exercise is good for you!). Lovely views, very helpful and friendly staff, quiet location and right on the beach. We will go back to this hotel on our next visit since we had absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were in an oceanfront condo where the sunrises were just beautiful sitting on the lani with our kona coffee every morning. The bed in unit 226 is not very comfy and seamed smaller then a queen. Two of the older staff at the office were quite rude but the younger guy and gals were very helpful and nice. The zip-line adventure is awesome,as was the tubing. If you can take a helicopter ride do it. Kauai is our favorite island ,is's so relaxing.

The grounds are truly beautiful. The staff is more than helpful. The bad part is No air Conditioning and very noisy. With the windows open at night you hear the roosters all night long along with the many people that come to party. NOT the place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Beach is great.State Park next door atracts a lot of parties as well. Noisy cars late at night. Rooms are from the 70,s. Original bathtubs and vinyl floors. Carpets worn and dirty.I recommend a top floor unit if your gonna stay here. It has a great location. Close to everything.

We went for our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was much more than we expected, beautiful with an amazing view. The location is next to a state beach which has snorkeling and a lifeguard on duty. Decently close to everything on the island.

i chose this property thinking i'd hardly ever be in the room so as long as it was clean it was cool. it was not only immaculate but the service was almost perfect and the view was amazing. the beach was steps away. i highly reccomend this.

We had an oceanview 1 bd condo unit. Nice condition furniture - kitchen okay - ocean view very nice. It was clean. Downfalls: No elevator and we were on the 3rd floor with heavy suitcases and NO airconditioning. Mid-late afternoon gets to be a little warm if there is no breeze blowing through. All in all, good value for money.

A sister vacation, and our second trip to Kaua'i. The location was great and the view was awesome! Too bad we had clouds and rain most of the time. But we still did the Tubing & Zipline Adventures. The Zipline was the highlight of the trip. We love having a condo so we don't have to eat out all the time and having the comforts of home in case we just want to relax and read a book.

"Went with my folks and sister to spend 2 weeks in Kauai for relaxing and spending time at the beach. We love the island but two things made our trip miserable. We had a ground level unit. The people above us were so noisy. They had a small child which you could hear every movement at every minute. He cried all the time and it sounded like they were moving furniture and constantly running. To us, we thought the ceiling was going to come down. The bedrooms faced the paking lot so we heard cars coming and going as well as people talking loud at all hours."

"Roomy individually-owned condos, grounds WELL-KEPT, very clean and spacious condos, location was ideal to access entire island and very close to great restaurants. Kaha Lani would not be where you would stay if you want luxury, but if your looking for a big patio with great views, kitchen, no hassles, and a family-friendly place, consider Kaha Lani."

Kaha Lani was very comfortable, a short walk to the beach, a golf course to one side-a family oriented park on the other. The condos are located a bit off the main road around the island(Kauai)which makes for a quieter atmosphere, but there seems to be no getting away from the hens and Roosters that are heard and seen everywhere you go. The hotel is located just north of Lihue a short drive from the airport. Located about midway on the east side of the island it's easy to sight-see north or south on the island and have a midway pit-stop if needed. The grounds are kept immaculately, friendly and helpful staff, poolside barbeques are great and our rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. We tended to eat lunch out and cook dinner at the condo, enjoying the sunset from our deck and feeling the tradewinds on our faces.....Lovely!

"What a view! The oceanfront condo provided a relaxing view of the surf and palm trees. Easy access to the beach just about 100 feet from our door. Fully equipped kitchen, new furniture, comfortable beds, wi-fi internet. Gas BBQ right across the parking lot meant it was easy to eat in and save $$$. Fresh outdoor paint. Great location next to park and golfing. While relaxing at the pool, we learned not all units are rented by Castle. The unit where we stayed was a very nice 2 BR condo not managed by Castle."

The Castle Kaha Lani is a condo complex designed with quiet privacy in mind and it delivers on that design. It is centrally located on the island of Kauai allowing for good access to either of the more activity and tourist focused ends of the island without putting you directly on a major hi way. The condos are well appointed with everything you need for a short or long stay and well the beach is not suited to swimming the pool is excellent. This not the spot for people looking for lots of activity or hotel type services but for those looking to de-stress and enjoy some of the island's natural beauty which was perfect for us.

"This hotel/condo was very disappointing. The sofa's smelled of musk. That's correct, musk, the balcony door required a stick to lock it. The TV sizzled for 20 minutes upon turning it on. The linen smelled. The fridge was rusted throughout. And I can go on. It was also unbearably noisy. "

These are owner units that are rented out when available. They were last updated in 1995 and the one we stayed in showed signs of wear that was unexpected. In addition, there was no air conditioning in the unit and for security reasons windows were requested to be locked at night. There were a coouple of ceiling fans but they were inadequate for cross ventilation and air circulation. Fortunately, we only stayed there one night.

I was totally impressed the condo that we rented. Quiet location but not to far from anything. Great location. This is my first time in Hawaii and it won't be my last. Especially in Kauai in Castle Kaha Lani! I'm a fan forever!:)

The staff was friendly and the condo was always clean. The location on the East side made a good central location, short drive to the South or North beaches and very close to numerous restaurants in Kapa'a. There is also a Wal-mart in Lihue if you don't have a CostCo membership. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. The whole island is overrun with chickens and they start crowing very early.
