I found the hotel itself quite impressive, however having checked the Casa Romana website before travelling and seen the rooms available, I was thoroughly disappointed with the room they gave us. It was incredibly small, pokey and with a window that opened onto a small courtyard where the guests from the room nextdoor could go out to smoke - it was either close the window or be overlooked by the neighbouring guests, also upon my return I discovered the hotel had charged me £3.86 for something, what for I've no idea as we didn't use anything from the room. I suspect they save these rooms for lateroom customers, personally it has made me less likely to use Laterooms again.

If you are going by car make sure you have a very good GPS system otherwise you may never arrive. However, once there the staff are very helpful and will go with you to a local car park (less than 1 minute away) to help you park. They will even take care of the payment so you can just pay them at the end of your stay. The hotel is ideally situated and most of the major tourist sites are within a leisurely 20 minute walk. The main shopping streets including Els Corts Ingles are just two minutes away. There are some good local restuarants (especially Casa Paco in Plaza hercules (turn left out of the hotel and its about 1km. It may not look like much but the food is great. The hotel has a large Jacuzzi on the sun roof which will help cool you down. All in all I would not hesitate to recomment this hotel.

Booked a double room but either through fault of my own or a fault with the hotel when we arrived, quite late, they were surprised that there were two of us. The room allocated was described as a double for single occupancy, but even if I was alone the room was so small. Another bad point was this room was beside the lift and the noise from the lift shaft was unbearable. Thankfully they had other rooms for the next two nights without this being made a problem and this room was quite spacious. I would not stay again as I thought it was very expensive for what was offered however the location was good, rooms spotlessly clean and customer service friendly.
