I loved the hotel and stay here every time I go to Cozumel.

This was the fourth time I have booked a room there. Whenever we go to Cozumel, this is the hotel we choose now. The hotel is wonderful. The hotel, rooms and all common areas are very clean. Their free buffet breakfast is more food than you could possibly eat. The staff always goes above and beyond to help you out. The hotel is right in town and does not have a beach access. However this is not a problem with us because we always rent a car and drive to wherever we want to sit out or snorkle.

Located just a couple of blocks away from the central square - makes it easy to walk pretty much anywhere in town. Not a large hotel so you are not one of the herd. Great breakfasts in the morning!! Pool is small but if the hotel is not packed it works. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms with ocean view have large balcony so if are scuba diving you can dry out all your stuff out there.

We really like that the hotel was not overcrowded and staff was very friendly and the room was extremely clean bath were clean, front desk was very prompt and courteous and spoke very well english . We were very comfortable and plan to return with our family.

The hotel has few frills, but I was just there to dive. I didn't need any frills. The best feature is that it's close to all the great downtown restaurants. The worst part, for me, was it had no pier. I had about a 20 minute walk every day (which gave me about 5-10 minutes to eat breakfast) to get to a hotel further south so I could "sneak" onto their pier to get on the dive boat. If you use a dive op that has a downtown pier, there is a short, couple of minute walk.

really comfy bed. Great location. Wonderful view from balcony of room. super full breakfast. Only drawbacks: plumbing had that funky smell that old buildings sometimes have. Sliding glass doors leaked/made a puddle during a hard rain.

Great breakfast, location and staff

This was a very clean hotel. It's right in the heart of town for shops, restaurants, dancing, etc. We enjoyed our stay here and very impressed. Breakfast was great and so were the staff. Pool is a little small though, but pull up a chair and layout and enjoy the view. No complaints at all. We will be back and when we do we'll definetly be back to Casa Mexicana!

This hotel sucks you in with the claims of ocean front views which are ACROSS the street and has NO beach access. It is the LOUSEST hotel I have ever stayed in. The start BANGING dishes around at 5:00 am to get ready for breakfast. I would NEVER stay here again and would tell EVERYONE I know to STAY AWAY!!!!

Maybe my expectations were too low, or maybe all this time spent in NY has me jaded, but I never thought it would be so fabulous. The entire hotel was spotless. The free breakfast was so good I was convinced everyday that we were going to be secretly charged for it. The staff was incredibley helpful and the maid turned our folded towels into differents animals and shapes every morning. The location had an amazing view from the balcony, overlooking the caribbean and the pool. The architecture is open and airy, and the rooms are spotless and well-kept. The air-conditioning kept the room very cool. The beds were so comfortable I felt myself melt into them every night. I cannot believe how nice the hotel was, considering the price (and the best pina coladas of all of Cozumel were at the hotel bar... for a mere 5 bucks).

"Good value for the money. Centrally located to all business' in Cozumel, such as scuba shops, shopping, etc."

The room and the whole hotel was super clean and the breakfast buffet was incredible! They'll have some juicer for your own fresh carrot juice and cook right in front of you for some pancakes, omelet and french toast. And the location is also great to hang out in San miguel, wherever you go, taxi and all convenient stores near by, so you can enjoy yourself without any worry for your stuffs in need. I was really satisfied with Casa Mexicana during all the way of my trip. Only bad thing I had was there is no beach near the hotel. But around 5 bucks, taxi will take you to the nearest beach. I do recommend this hotel for anyone who plans to go to Cozumel, and I want to say thank you to the staffs who helped me during my stay again!

I'm a SCUBA Diver. Casa Mexicana is perfectly suited for diving.

The Casa Mexicana has to be the best hotel located in downtown Cozumel. The rooms are very large and seem to have recently been remodeled. The beds are very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly.I highly recommend going with the ocean view rooms our friends who booked city view ended up switching once the saw the view of the ocean. The free breakfast buffet was one of the best i've ever had.The only draw back is there pool its only 3.5 feet deep and nobody really goes in it.If i ever make back to Cozumel i will defintly be staying there again.

"We were very pleased! The hotel overlooks the sea and is right in the middle of San Miguel Town. There are hundreds of stores, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the entire hotel. Scrupulously clean and well-maintained! Staff spoke English very well and were extremely friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL! Room service was excellent too. We hated to leave when our ship finally docked! Muchas gracias!!!"

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was marvelous. The hotel extremely clean and the breakfast buffet top notch. Beds were very comfortable but queen sized would be better. Other than that we could not have asked for better. For location and price I highly recommend this hotel. The view from the pool balconey was great. Free Internet service that was provided was great. If you needed anything they made sure you got it. Thanks for a great week....we will be back next year.
