The hotel was clean, with large rooms kitchen and laundry as well. There was nothing I disliked it was a great stay. The hotel was exactly what we were looking forward room for our two young children and all the things you need for a comfortable stay at an affordable price.

Carriage Ridge Resort located at Carriage Hills was great value for the money.The room was extra clean and comfortable with a great view from the the walk out porch. The resort had a covered bar-b-que area and a supervised indoor pool and hot tub,with clean well manicured ground's and friendly staff I will return for a longer stay.

I enjoyed the location and the quiet. I checked into the hotel at 2:30 pm which was early but was accommodated. Power was lost during a snow storm around 6 pm and was not restored until 2:30 pm the next day. I thought the staff was very unresponsive to the needs of the people staying there. That being said I know I would have rated much higher if the power had not been lost and I could have enjoyed all of the features of the facility that were offered. All in all I feel like I should have paid for only one of the two days I was there. Would I go back? Yes. But not during winter.

Lots of activities available on the resort grounds. The walls did not block out the sounds very well, several times you could hear the person next door dragging in there golf clubs into their room.

The kitchinette is always a bonus when travelling with young children. The pull out couch was not the most comfortable. Excellent value for the price, family friendly and if you like the outdoors there is lots to do around. Too far from Toronto if you are looking for accessability to the big city.

Very nice, attractive resort! The fact that we didn't receive a bill. We had a great stay, even though we got lost getting there. The room was fantastic and we enjoyed ourselves.

Almost everything was perfect! The microwave oven was broken. The hotel was perfect in every way except the broken microwave oven. But it was replaced when I reported it to the staff.

I liked the room as well as the staff. I did not like the remote location. Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were well equipped and very clean, but the area was too remote and you had to drive for a restaurant. There was nothing within walking distance. We stayed in a studio that was fully equipped with microwave, fridge, dishes and everything you could need, but we were only staying for the one night so we didn't get any use out of the amenities that were offered.

Very nice rooms and atmosphere for a quiet getaway. The only problem with this hotel is that there are no restaurants on site and only a few in the town. For more of a variety, you neeed to drive to Barrie which is about 20 minutes away. Otherwise, you can bring your own food and do your own cooking as there are kitchen faciliies. The hotel is very nice and the scenery is beautiful. I would definitely go back there.
