The hotel was not clean at all the rooms were dirty and the first night I found a bug in my bed.The hotel itself is not very well kept. I would never stay there again.

My family loved staying at this hotel! The staff were very helpful and the amount of things to do inside of the hotel itself was wonderful since it rained the whole time we were in Ocean City. There were plenty of things to keep us occupied. I have a young daughter who is 1 1/2 and there were tons of little rides for her to play on and an ice-cream stand. The pool was great too! The ice-skating ring indoors was definatly fun for my fiancee and myself. An overall great experience!

The hotel was a lot of fun! There were a lot of kids there, so you need to be ready for a bit of noise. Loved the oceanside bar and grill. Great coladas and ice-skating shows. Also, not far from mini golf and shopping.

Water running in the ceiling; stained carpets; hard beds; tiny bathroom. I actually had to request a new toilet seat for my bathroom. My children were very, very disappointed as this was their first time in Ocean City. Nice staff, I really felt sorry for them because they received many complaints throughout the day. I will not stay at this hotel again unless it is renovated. The prices were way too high for what you get; the ice skating rink is a nice feature but the arcade room was full of broken games and equipment. Too bad, the idea of a family fun resort gone bad.

Our first room had trash under the comforter, within the sheets. The room they moved us to had long hair on the sheets and pillowcases. This suggested to us that beds were remade and sheets were not changed! The second room also hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long. At the pool bar our draft beers tasted funny so I went to the bartender and told her to which her reply was, and I quote, "So". I was absolutely appalled at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The only saving grace was the front desk ladies who really tried to help on the super busy 4th of July weekend at the beach.

Overall I thought it was a pretty nice place. I thought it had a lot of great activities and was close to a lot of family friendly places. I found the rooms to be quite clean. The only problems I had were that the elevators took FOREVER to get to us while we were standing there holding a baby and all of our suitcases, the staff definitely was not as friendly as I'd hoped for (most of them were hard to even understand), you had to park forever away, their gift shop was a complete mess, and they had music at the ice rink playing so loud. Overall for the price I think it's a good deal.

Received promotional letter from hotel in February to book summer vacation Tuesday through Thursday at reduced rate by March 31st. Took advantage of offer for oceanfront stay at */night. They must have reserved worst rooms for the ""special."" Sliding door screen was ripped and hanging, room door had to be slammed to shut, carpets dirty. View was overlooking pool, noisy. Very disappointing. Rooms in dire need of refurbishing. I've vacationed in OC for 33 years, will not stay at this hotel again.

My kids and I only stayed for 2 nights but we did have alot of fun. The only hotel that I have seen to have an ice rink in it. The rink was small but we had fun on it. I have nothing negative to say about our stay.

if u room near rink, you might as well be sleeping on it! way too loud! rms are sooo outdated. decor would have been ugly in the 70's! beach is close, thats about it!

This hotel is not worth the price, hence the 1 star rating I gave it. First I think it fair to say, the room was very clean. However, even though it is on the beach, I would have stayed a block away to obtain more amenities. At close to $300 dollars a night, I expected a lot more. I had a ocean view room. While the tower has well over 30 floors, the hotel is only on the first four floors, Condos are on the other floors. Trees obstructed my view of the ocean. The lobby is the worst I have ever seen, very messy and not well organized. While the Ice skating rink may be nice for some, it was a noisy distraction. For $200-300, find another hotel, like the holiday Inn, Clarion would be a better choice. The rooms are of the caliber of a motel 6 with a $279 price tag for an ocean view room. What little ocean you can see. The best thing about the entire hotel is that the room was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were plain but roomy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The several choice for dining were nice.

When we arrived and checked-in, we noticed the room was not cleaned. The carpet was dirty. The couch had a chocolate stain on a pillow. The room smelled like stinky feet. The lobby was very noisy throughout the day and night. The staff were friendly and able to answer all of our questions. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Please do yourself a favor, go next door or down the street for less money.

It was after 4:30 p.m. when we arrived, checked in, and went to our room. The room had not been cleaned and was not ready for check-in as the front desk staff had indicated to us.However, the cleaning staff was jolly on the spot and cleaned our room in an expeditious manner. We would return to the Carousel. The location was convenient to our convention. Staff was customer-oriented and friendly.

Very disappointing to say the least - my two night get-a-way to the beach turned into a one night stay. It was worth losing the money for the second night just to get home.

The hotel offered excellent, friendly service, and we were happy to be able to hear the waves at night. We were not as happy to have a view of the rooftop, shingles and all. The next morning, a workman was so close he could look into our window. The room was spacious and comfortable, but we had to call for help. Our T.V. didn't have HBO. The replacement had a stuck volume button. We couldn't figure out microwave without help, and a lamp had no light bulb. We did appreciate the comfortable beds and the curtains that completely turn the room to dark. A great place to get sleep. The pool was not suitable for lap swimming and seemed less than clean. The beach out front was a terrific plus, and the service at the hotel was great. Asthmatics should stay away from the atrium rooms. The oceanfront rooms were likely to be terrific.

Upon entering the room, we were quite surprised. The floor to ceiling windows with the balcony was great with a view of the bay. The room was quite spacious and the kitchenette area was a plus. I like the bathroom but the carpet appeared to need cleaning. We checked in on Thursday and did not get our room cleaned our entire stay. We purposely stayed out all day for that purpose and was quite disappointed when we returned to find the room still dirty. The ice rink was broken when we arrived which was one of the plusses I was looking forward to. For all the bad things that happened, overall the good things far outweighed them and I would consider staying at the hotel again. Afterall, it was right there on the beach.
