Very Nice Place. Enjoyed our stay, didn't want to leave. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. There were 4 people in our group...parents and 2 adult children( age 20 and 23) Condo was roomy with 2 large bathrooms, comfortable beds, 3 t.v.s, washer and dryer...a large screened balcony with table and chairs ...appliances were nice, and saved $$ by cooking meals etc. We found that the staff was friendly ..Tammy and Gloria on the front desk were very nice and helpful..At night, we could watch the fire works (Disney) just over the tree tops from our balcony. Caribe Cove is about 15 minutes from the Disney Theme Parks..there is a new super Target store and Publix Grocery store on route ..very convenient for groceries etc. I would recommend this resort for families with older children, or for adults.

We stayed at Caribe Cove last week and will NEVER go back. We found that many of the amenities listed on their site or our travel site either did not exist or were exaggerated. Annoying but not necessarily a deal-breaker. What we could not tolerate was the complete lack of integrity by the front desk manager (Tamaria) and maintenance manager (Carlos). We had maintenance issues go unresolved for the duration of our stay, leaving one bathroom virtually unusable. When we complained about the maintenance issues, we were told they had been fixed, when it was obviously not the case. When we told our travel-booking site about the discrepancies between the services and amenities offered vs those stated on the website, Carlos lied to the website people calling to verify. When we complained to the front desk manager about the situation, she told us we needed to pack our bags and get off the property!! She even ordered a front-desk employee to call the police when I threatened to leave a bad review of the property on the website!!! Bottom line: HOUSEKEEPING- is non-existent throughout your stay. Need clean towels or sheets? You need to go to the store, buy detergent, and wash & dry them yourself. Some sites list mid-stay housekeeping as an alternative, but when we tried to arrange it, we were told it was not possible. SECURITY - is also non-existent. There is a guard station and gate at the entrance to the property, but it is completely unmanned and the gate is always open. Carlos insists that the station is manned after 10pm, but we entered the property after this time on 4 different nights & it was unmanned each time. I did not observe security cameras or security personnel anywhere on the property at any time throughout our stay. FITNESS CENTER/SPA SERVICES - are laughable. The "fitness center" is smaller than my bathroom. It is located inside the lobby, separated only by a glass wall. It has 3-4 cardio machines & a TV. We did not observe any steam or sauna, as are listed available on several travel sites. And the pool is substantially smaller than it is made to appear in photos on the websites. BUSINESS CENTER - The term is laughable. The front desk has a printer, copier, and fax machine for its own use. These are behind the desk, not where a guest can use them on their own and forget about privacy. You have to wait for a desk person to be free and then hope they're in a good enough mood that they will make your copies or send your fax for you. Not exactly "business" oriented. INTERNET - Wireless is only available in the lobby. Inside the unit there is 1 connection - behind the TV in the living area. The cord provided is not long enough to reach the dining table, coffee table, or bedroom. So, if you bring a laptop, you pretty much have to sit on the floor like a 6 yr old. The connection is VERY slow, borderline dial-up. Most of my pages crashed before loading. FLATSCREEN TV's/DVDs - The living area has a 25" tube TV. Carlos insists that it is a "flatscreen" because the screen is not concave. It's not LCD or Plasma if that's your interpretation. Two bedrooms have very tiny (12"?) TVs & 1 has a DVD player - but not the one in the living room. There are VERY FEW channels of regular TV available at this resort - it may be "cable" but there's not much more than the local networks, Disney & Weather. TOMMY BAHAMA DECOR - The units ARE large & they are decorated nicely, but it's really low-quality. As we were eating dinner one night, my toddler leaned on one side of the dining table. The leg on the opposite side fell out and bashed me in the shin causing a huge bruise. My usually laid-back husband nearly went through the roof when the manager threatened to charge us for it. As if our 27-pound toddler has the strength or body mass to break a table leg! LACK OF STAFF - Already talked about having no security or housekeeping people. We also never observed anyone working outdoors on the property. Late one evening we were approached by another (male) guest when we pulled into the parking lot. He had also just returned & found a 2-yr-old girl wandering alone in front of his building. For propriety's sake, he did not want to approach her alone, so my husband followed him back to his building while I brought our kids upstairs & called the front desk. It was a full 20 minutes before the front desk guy showed up to investigate and he NEVER called the police or any emergency services!! I was absolutely appalled! ARCHITECTURAL ODDITIES - There are some things about the units that are just weird. Each bedroom has a vent in the wall into the main living area, so you can't get any bedroom completely dark or quiet as long as anyone is in the main living area (front hall, laundry closet, kitchenette, eating area, living area). Also, one bedroom is located alongside the exterior corridor leading to the unit. This corridor has a very bright light directly outside this bedroom window, which makes it impossible to get the room completely dark at night & leaves 1 person trying to sleep directly next to this window. There are also no blackout curtains in the units as claimed on some websites. I would never stay at this place again. I would discourage anyone I know from staying there. There are so many properties in the Orlando area that you can do a lot better for the same price elsewhere.

Well I must say that before booking my stay at Caribe Cove resort, I read every single review about this hotel from about 12 different hotel search engines and travel sites. Much to my surprise, the comments and reviews were dead accurate. Fist the resort is simply beautiful!! We had a 3 bredroom villa, and talk about spacious... The bathrooms were huge and very clean. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved it! There was 6 of us there and more then enough room to spread out! The resort is located off of rte 192 in very quiet area. The pool is a distance from the actual biulding were you would stay and it closes at 8pm which was a drag for us. The staff here needs improving in customer service. Be careful, there are some hidden fees that are associated with staying here that may not be listed on some travel sites. They are very serious about checking in at 4pm, so please do not arrive early like we did. They made us wait for 1 1/2 hours to get our room. Also bring your own computer, because it is free wireless and free in your room, but to use their computers in the lobby you will have to pay for it @ $4.00 per 15 minutes. The staff that checked me in was terrible. They made me pay an additional 45.00 + tax because I did not want them to put a 200.00 hold on my credit card for accidentals. Besides those few little mishaps, this place is simply great! If you are going to disney, it is about 12 minutes away. For universal, sea world, wet -n- wild and others, it's about 20 -25 minutes away. 15 minutes from the airport and right on the 192 strip where there are dozens of stores and places to eat. Trust met, you will love the stay here!

Size/type of accommodations was perfect for families with children Low number of public area amenities. This property a very good value for a family with children. The sizes of the accommodations are similar to a small apartment. The fully furnished kitchen and in room washer/dryer are a great feature for families visiting for an extended time period. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Both bedrooms had TVs, although the TV in the master bedroom's color kept fading in and out. There was also a TV in the living room. The property is less than 2 years old, so for the most part everything was in good shape and very clean. Their blankets were of extremely poor quality, but the towels and other linens were quite good. There was some mildew in the master bedroom shower stall and a slight leak under one of the master bedroom sinks. We had 2 sinks, so we just avoided the leaky one.

We got a very good deal to stay here and this initially made me worry. I don't like cheap hotels. The hotel was nice but not spectacular. The room was clean, comfortable and large enough the four adults and three children who traveled but 2 kids had to sleep on the pull out couch. The pool was nice and typically not too crowded. There was free wired internet in the guest rooms and free computers for the internet in the clubhouse. The hotel is kind of far out from the action but that was fine for me. I always either drive my own car or rent one. Whe this savings from the room price I would recommend renting a car especially if you are going to universal florida, sea world or that area. The room could use more pots and pans for cooking and more dishes. We had to wash pots after each thing we cooked to cook again so bring or buy containers for "leftovers" or your own pots. Also, they do not clean the room while you are there at all. They also charge a *cleaning fee. That amount is included in your price when you book through Travelocity, however. Lastly, they either place a 200 hold or a *non-refundable charge on your credit card as a damage deposit when you check in. Overall, the stay was fine and we extended our stay but if you have more of a budget or want something nicer, I would recommend Floridays, the facility is nicer, they clean while you are there and the rooms are bigger so you can either have more people in your room or be more comfortable in the room.

rooms shown on line were exectly where you stayed, which is nice to know. IT staff was great response was immediate. Pool closed too early after a long day at Theme Parks it would have been nice to take a dip in the pool, other resorts we have stayed in the past closed pool at 11 p this one closed at 8 pm. All and all was a good experience. Would have been nice to recieve a fact sheet re; resort facts pool closes @, need buy toilet paper

It was roomier than expected. The cleaning fee seemed a little high. May be it should be rated based on length of stay. I was impressed with the accommodations. The rooms and bathroom were clean and the space was more than expected. It was a perfect fit for a large family.

First of all, check-in was a breeze due to efficient and friendly/helpful staff. X, the gal who checked us in, was terrific in helping us as we got settled later that evening. We found the entire staff there to be efficient, very friendly and very accommodating. They even offered to print out our boarding passes for us before we left! We loved our room!! Or shall I say--ROOMS! 3 bedrooms for the price of 2 and we really only needed one for the two of us, but it was wonderful to have the extra space as my husband got food poisoning at one point and needed a day in-house, with quiet, to recoup. I could do as I pleased without disturbing him, by using one of the spare bedrooms, on the other side of the living room. The kitchen was wonderful with all modern conveniences and dishes and we loved having the laundry facility too. I am a germ freak so I really appreciated how clean it all was. Both bathrooms were lovely and we really enjoyed the 2 person soaking tub in the master bath. Bring your own shampoo-but look for the hairdryer in the top drawer of the bathroom. :-) Many small items that you might want will be available for purchase at the reception area store and they really weren't badly priced either. Some say the location is hard to find and out of the way--we didn't think so. We drove right to it (easy to find the turn-off because it is at a light/intersection) and so what if you aren't on the main drag....we LOVED the quiet and peacefulness. A super-target is opening about 1 mile away in March 2009 and there are grocery stores and restaurants in the same area. Great Find!

This place is awesome. I stayed in a 3 bedroom. More than enough room for 6 of us. Washer and dryer are great things to have. The master bedroom has a tremendous amount of room. The facility is new and very clean. All the amentities of home. Fireworks from Disney were awesome to watch from the balcony. Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great value! Loved the location - Not in the middle of all of the Orlando traffic but close enough to everything we needed. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 5. We had 1 problem with a broken pull out couch but it was fixed by the time we returned from Universal. We will return!

Rooms were spacious. Kitchen was impressive. Internet rates ridiculously high. Didn't like the feeling from hidden/unexpected charges at check-in. This is a great spot for long-term stays (minimum 5 days) or large groups of travelers. There are a lot of hidden and unexpected fees that distract a little bit from the impressive rooms at great rates. This is on the wrong side of traffic for trips to Orlando attractions (Universal & Sea World), but not bad at all for trips to Disney.

This is a great place to stay. I recently stayed here in january and February. I plan to come back for spring break. The rate was rgeat. The front desk staff was great. The rooms were clean and it was extremely peaceful no outside noise and just overall a great experience. Absolutely only 5-10 minutes from Disney

When I made the reservation I thought it might be to good to be true. I was pleasantly surprised that it was all true as described in all the publications.The only bad thing I can say is we past the street you turn onto from 192 but made a u-turn when we thought we went to far and found our way shortly after that.The entrance was nice and very secure.We got in late but quickly checked in and got to our 3 bedroom villa and was very impressed. It was just like home and the kids loved having their own rooms(they are teenagers).My husband loved it and he is not easy to impress when he is spending his hard earned money.

Excellent villa, new property and beautiful. A little far from attractions and shopping. Excellent location for extended leisure vacation, family, seniors etc. New villa fully equipped with everything you would have at home. Location is a little out but driving was easy. Great location for relaxation after a day of shopping or Disney. My family will use this property again.

This 3 bedroom condo was amazing, especially for the price. It's a little over a year old and is beautiful and huge! Walk in closets, huge bathrooms, screened-in porch and a laundry room! Furniture is nice, decor is nice, pool was nice. They also had workout equipment and a sauna in the clubhouse near the pool. Staff was also very friendly. We definitely plan on staying there again and are sending friends and family there also.

We were in Kissimme doing a 2day DisneyWorld trip and chose Caribe Cove resort as our lodging facility. Though not very grand or impressive from the outside the units are marvellously maintained and had the 'wow' factor when we stepped in. We took a 2 bedroom unit, the kitchen was neat and clean and so were the bedrooms and the bathrooms. We did have a little mosquito problem and one of the days we had no electicity for about 3hrs. Remember, the checkout time here is 10am unlike the 11am everywhere else, which is weird. The staff was not very accomodating during the power failure period.

Plenty of room for family of 4-5 clean, nice grounds. Check in at 4:00 & check out @ 10:00 staff not to friendly. It was nice just what we were looking for, check out time could be little later and if a room/condo is available before check in time should be allowed to check in, Staff was not that friendly, but very everything was clean and kept up nice. I would stay again with the family.
