The Capri Laguna Inn isa great location. There are many stairs to most rooms. There is no luggage assistance to your room. The evening we arrived in our room, we called the front desk & requested a few more hangers (there were 4 or 5) & a remote control for the TV (there was none). The next morning those things were delivered to our room while we were out. There were two computers available in the lobby for guests. The breakfast was ok. Great view from room, however, people could look into our room (& they did) coming up the stairs from the beach. The sound of the ocean was awesome, day & night - Our room lacked a screen door,& a window screen. The room lacked cleanliness in the areas of the floor near wall where air conditioner vented, the back of the air conditioner was quite disgustingly dirty. We pulled it out for the cleaning staff to see & hoped they would manage the situation & clean it all,but were disappointed in the results. Other than that, the room was pretty clean. The staff that handled linen was very responsive when we requested additional towels. The covering for the bed was not of adequate quality for the amount we paid/night & should be replaced with something of a bit higher standard. The safe in the closet did not work. The kitchenette area had a small refridgerator and microwave small sink, new countertop and granite floor. The bathroom door did not really shut tightly. The bathroom had been refurbished with new toilet, sink, jacuzzi tub. There was a small hole at the bottom outside of where the tub was installed - did not affect the tub itself, just the look when you saw it. The toilet did not have cover buttons for the rusty bolts sticking up on either side. Some of the hotel reception staff were arguing in the lobby in front of guests. The cleanliness of the entire property was sorely lacking. There were dead flowers in the lobby and when mentioned to a staff member, they agreed, but did not remove the flowers. Basically, we loved the locatio

There was no air conditioning so I brought a fan from home and we also used one of theirs and had them running the whole time. If you stay in a ocean view room, I think one wouldn't be disappointed. for a beach front property, we were very happy with our stay. So much in fact, my husband wanted me to book another night! I did find some things that definetely needed replacing, but I think that is just wear and tear with being on the beach. You can't beat the location, and parking is a tad tight, but we thankfully got there early, and found a spot and left the car for the entire stay! There is a free trolley that will take you into town so you will not need your car. I found the staff very helpful when I had questions. The maintenence and desk staff were VERY helpful and pleasant. The b-fast provided is something to get you through to lunch and is very much what a continential b-fast is supposed to be. Some people wrote how awful it was, but I don't think croisants would warrant that comment. There was cereal, toast, fruit and OJ. This is something they don't have to provide, but they do. Friday night, they have a wine and cheese reception which was also a nice touch! Again, something they don't have to do, but they do it. :) Would stay again!

The hotel is located right on the beach with a beautiful view from the upper deck. The hotel is old and outdated. The rooms need new carpet and remodel. The night staff was very friendly and helpful upon check-in. I felt I was being called a liar. Otherwise, the location and views were amazing.

Our experience here was not a good one. The room phone was not connected and there was not a remote for television. All the furniture was old and cheap. There was not an air-conditioner (my mistake for not checking on that). The fan for the room was very small and poorly located and therefore could not cool down the room. The bedding was just adequate. Overall, I felt this room was not worth the mopey we paid. We had to park off site because there was insufficient parking on site. I understand this is common for the beach, but the parking spaces at the off site facility were very small (and my car is not!). I will not stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. 2 story hotel complex, with no elevator. No air conditioning. Sure, you can open the windows for ventilation, but then everyone that walks by can see everything you're doing unless you close the really thick curtains, which don't allow in the breeze. So if you're getting ready to go out, you either lose privacy by opening the curtains, or get ready in your unventilated room. And at night, if you leave the balcony and windows open for air, you don't have a screen or anything, so technically someone could reach in or if the balcony is close to the walkway, they could walk in to your room. I'm 5 foot 1, and I practically had to duck to wash my hair in the shower (not an exaggeration). The hot water/cold water gauge didn't work, so you'd have to guess which way was which, and sometimes once you thought you got it right, it just went the complete opposite temperature mid shower. The towel rack fell when I went to pull off the towel. Staff couldn't find my confirmation at check-in, but when they finally found my name, oh look, the confirmation number i gave them was attached. Very limited parking directly in hotel, but if you can't find a spot on site, you can park about a block and a half away in their alternate lot (no valet). For the money, it's TRULY not worth it. Do not stay here. You can get the same view at a number of other places for comparable rates.

there was never more than 1 person at the front desk, and they were always backed up. rooms needed remodeling in fact they asked after 3 days if we would move to another room to accomodate a carpet man coming in. we said no. horrible housekeeping and rooms in great need of upgradin.

For starters...the hotel is not as nice as it seems in their website. It is much smaller and it smells. If you are a woman I would strongly suggest to stay away from this hotel. The staff are rude and condescending. The phone, the fridge and the lock were busted and no attempts were made to fix them. The only good thing this hotel has going for it is its location. Other than that...it's just not worth it!
