Good stay nice balcony and view of freeway

Staff let me park my car in front of lobby. It is being remodeled. The pool was empty for the first 5 days I was there, but did get filled. The rooms are pretty fair, but with all the remodeling, it looked iffy at best.

I traveled on business and stayed here as this is where the seminar was to be held. I booked it via Travel agency for a great price. However, upon arrival at the hotel the front desk staff had a bad attitude towards us as we "hadn't booked through them". We didn't get any of the perks they had advertised on the outside of the building. Our room smelled terrible and the tub was dirty. The carpets could use a good cleaning throughout the hotel. Restaurant staff seemed more interested in socializing with co-workers, than helping customers. I would not recommend this hotel for a stay or a seminar.

The bed and bedding were clean except for the bed spread which was clearly not cleaned in some time. Carpets and bed spread were dirty and the breakfast room for your complimentary breakfast only had 4 tables. Connecting diner off limits for seating. Moderately priced, mostly clean. Friendly staff. Hotels! Please clean your bed spreads or don't use them at all. Gross!

I loved the location of this property for my trip, right off the Capitol Highway headed east to I-80. It was easy exit and even easier to get back on the freeway the next day. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a price that was a true bargin these days (under *)! I would definately stay here again!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hallways need a little paint and new carpets. Right off the freeway, had to carry luggage through hotel to rooms, 2nd story rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. Clerks were very helpful and gave us coupons for excellent breakfast. A little TLC and they could move up a star. I would stay there again.

Good location. Hotel had an old look to it. Good Location right off the freeway. Perfect location to the Golf course! Within walking distance!

Not the greatest place but seems clean enough and was the best price around. Not sure if we'll stay again but since my husband's band plays every Labor Day at the State Fair we may have to use it again just because it's affordable and close to Cal Expo. The rooms don't cool down too well and the restaurant isn't open after 12 noon until 6pm. We had to go back down several times to get our key card replaced because it wouldn't work. If you need a cheap room, this one will do.

Nothing, bathroom not even cleaned, not sure bed was changed, window sill filthy, AC didn't work, very noisy, shower head wouldn't move. (Taped, headed to back of tub & unmovable) Not a clean room. The staff was really very nice, but the service was lousy. It took five phone calls to get towels & washcloths, toilet tissue, coffee & a plastic bag for the ice after emptying the old bag. The room was not clean, and we felt that perhaps we were sleeping in the sheets from the last inhabitants. We would not stay there again!

This is a very dated property in a less than desireable area of town. The rooms were recently refurbished. The common areas need updating. Elevator not conveniently located near the front desk and it is actually pretty far away from the front desk.

The beds were comfortably. Amenities, shower/tub not working well, and room was not well stocked. The staff very friendly and handled all problem besides shower/tub combo. The hotel seemed to be advertised bigger and better that it really was. Location was great.

Room is clean, and nice. The building is quite old. The room is clean, and nice, price is good. Building is kind of old, you can tell from the door, elevator, etc, and TV remote in my room doesn't work. Overall, for that price, it's not bad.

Very clean and friendly staff. Nothing. I was very pleased with my stay I wish I could have stayed longer. The room was priced great. Everything about the room was perfect.

Nice room with fairly new furnishings. They put me on third floor, but it was away from highway. Could recommend for short stay.

Location. Pet policy. When I got there, they said they'd recently changed their policy and now require a $100 non-refundable pet fee! I thought this was both outrageous and was faulty advertising. My dog had to sleep in the car because of this. I am not pleased.

Convenient to Arco Arena. Was slightly grungy - chipped paint, linoleum cracked. If they would patch and repaint, maybe get new rugs in common areas - hotel would be more eye pleasing. Room was OK, Location convenient but not in the best area of town.

Nice bar with live music. Tough check in process. Leaky windows during rainstorm. A clean hotel in a so-so to bad part of Sacramento. The lady working the nightshift made check in difficult. The room was clean, but the windows leaked during a rainstorm. A great bar with live Blues was the real upside to this place. I hope I don't end up there again.

I liked it and would stay again assuming they have a much firmer bed. The bed was too soft and gave me a worst back ache than I had. The hotel and room were clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was in a decent location. The front desk staff was friendly but when I asked what time the restaurant opens for breakfast in the morning (as I was going to my room for the night) I was told 6:30am; Only to walk into the restaurant the very next morning to be told they were closed for a private breakfast.

Convenient location. Smell of marijuana smoke in the hall outside of guest rooms. Beds uncomfortable, sliding glass patio door had a 1/2-inch air gap between the stationary and moving door allowing cold air and freeway noise into the room. Bathtub was stained with grey spots. Price was fine for a room that was used for sleeping for less than 12 hours.
