Location was right outside the park. The room was not the cleanest.

The hotel is very basic and in any other location would be half the price. Our biggest complaint however was the quality of the food, which was awful.

Williams, AZ is 50 miles away. We were so glad we stayed in Tusayan, which is about 6-7 miles outside of Grand Canyon. We stayed in a suite, which was more expensive than hoped, but booked later than we should've. Has a simple complimentary breakfast, hot breakfast costs * more each, which we did, was good--pancakes, french toast, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs. Book early--summer fills up fast! It is near an IMAX theatre, which we did not do, but it has a Pizza Hut in it.

Convenient. Poor breakfast. Its convenient for the Grand Canyon.

I would not recommend this hotel. We stayed with a group and saw a selection of rooms. All were extremely poorly insulated. We spent all night listening to the wind whistling through the door and window and the heat kicking on and off every few minutes. The Suites were located almost a block away from the main office with no interior access. We had to walk over icy roads and sidewalks to get in. In the winter the pool and one hot tub are closed. The one interior hot tub is very nice, but totally overwhelmed with the number of guests. The main rooms are centered around an atrium, very nice set up, except there is a restaurant in the atrium and the smell of frying fish was completely overwhelming in the lobby, atrium and rooms. The breakfast included with your room was one of the worst I have ever had. We were told at registration the the "cold" breakfast was included but the "hot" breakfast was extra. The cold breakfast consisted of two choices of cereal, an empty spot where milk was suposed to be set, a stale pastry, a few glasses of juice and an empty bowl where cold toast was, again, supposed to be set. The worst was that coffee and tea were only available through the single waiter who was overwhelmed and not interested in serving the people only getting the "cold" breakfast. I finally gave up. It was not a happy morning with no coffee for most of our group.

Large rooms. Very thin walls, and doors, could hear everyone in the hallways.

We had a 6:00 am tour the next morning, and so we decided to bite the bullet and stay at a close in hotel - as opposed to staying in Williams and driving up in the early morning. We had booked a two-bed non smoking room. They gave us a two-room suite. The separate room had a second TV, a fridge, a microwave oven, and a coffee maker. Very clean. We asked if we could register early - we wanted to avoid the long lines with all the tour buses - and we didn't expect to be allowed in the room early, but they let us in at 2:00. We had a nice lunch in Williams, and stopped at the Safeway there and got wine, cheese, crackers, fruit, etc and had a simple supper in the room. Avoid the general store and the restaurants in the park - big .

Friendly welcome and nice and clean room. Too early closed the restaurant the evening. Very good place to visit the Grand Canyon, very kind people at the reception, comfortable and clean room.

as for location to the grand canon, great! it's a hop, skip, and a jump to the south entrance.for a family, it would be ok - tv in the bedroom and one in the front room for the kids. furniture was ok, nothing fancy at all. pretty clean, but i felt that i didn't want to touch much. my biggest complaint were the towels - they were old and grey, not white like they were probably 10 years ago! the hotel is rapidly becoming dated; needs to be renovated a bit, however, based upon other reviews we read and having stayed here, it's probably better than the rest of the hotels. all of the hotels here are about, as in real estate... location, location, location!

Location is awesome andeasy to find. Breakfast was disappointing, heater in room was a little noisy. Internet was down. Hotel was clean, easy to find and is in an awesome location for easy access to the Grand Canyon. We thought the dinner buffet was too expensive so we went to another restaurant. The breakfast buffet was okay but a little pricey for the selection. If you want the continental breakfast for free, you better like cold cereal- not much there. The room was nice and the common areas appeared clean and well kept. We only stayed the one night but would stay again if going to the Grand Canyon.

The hotel is close to the park. But they dont honor their own promises of 100% satisfaction gurantee! Will not recommend it!

It was clean. t wasokay could have stayed at other hotels in the area.

Separate bedrooms and sitting area. Very uncomfortable bed, dirty, smelled of mildew in bathroom. For the big bucks, it was a big disappointment. It was dirty, mildew in the shower, smelled mildewed in the bathroom, dirty handprints on sliding door. The bed wrecked my back and was not a regular size queen, but more like a double. It was definitely a volume hotel, banking on it's location close to the Grand Canyon. Very much in need of some updates.

Location, guide in lobby to help with grand canyon options. Continental breakfast should last longer. Overall good hotel and would stay there again.

Convenient and tidy. Could be a little closer to the canyon. Better than expected.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The restaurant food was not very good. This is a great place to staff and it is close to the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon. I like everything except the restaurant.

Location. No wireless computer connectivity. The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful. The owners do not understand the importance of computer connectivity. Only the main area has wireless connection and the DSL connection provided was short. I am not a teen who wants to sprawl on the bed and text message my girlfriend. I need a computer connection on or near a desk.

I was impressed with the fountain in the lobby. The hotel restaurant closed early like an hour early and served to be inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend this hotel restaurant to anyone.

The gift shop was nice. For the grand canyon they could have made some accommodation for early morning hikers, since the restaurant was open y not allow us in for a bite to nib. Ok hotel, the restaurant was poor as far as accommodation goes for early morning hikers. They would not even give us a piece of fruit before seven. Being a tourist place, they should have allowed for us to nibble on something before leaving the hotel at 6.30 am. Not even a piece of bread.

The bed was very, very comfortable. The staff was rude. The hotel is reasonably convenient to the grand canyon with nice rooms, a high-speed internet connection, and a decent dining facility. Parking is relatively limited, so you might have a hard time getting in to the lot later at night. The directions from as 64 to the hotel were vague, however, and when we called to clarify the directions, the staff member we spoke with was rude and scolding, suggesting that we had taken "the long way around." the hotel website, in other words, recommended that we take the "long way" in the dead of night and was almost completely uncooperative in remedying their poor directions. Aside from the rudeness of the staff, however, this is a recommended stay.
