The staff is very nice, had menus of all the local restaurants so you could review before you left. Also had two older cars that would drive to and from the restaurants. They also had a wine and cheese reception from 5pm until 6pm, the wine selection was not very good, just a merlot and a chardonnay and a couple of cheeses but still enjoyable. The view was terrific, you're right on the river, plenty of windows and nice places to sit and enjoy. The room even had binoculars so you could look at the boats and wildlife. The room was decorated very nicely, with a lovely window seat and luxury linens. The bathroom had a shower as well as a footed tub. Breakfast in the morning was good and they have a nice deck to sit and enjoy it as well. On the second floor they also have lots of historical photographs and details about the history of Astoria and the fishing industry.

We only stayed here one night and wished it could have been longer..... The room was beautiful which was complete with a huge claw foot bathtub and gas fireplace. This made the trip. My husband and I loved the private river view balcony and got some great pictures from it. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would also suggest dining at Bridgewater Bistro, which is just steps from the hotel. Their food and service was excellent. This was a wonderful, wonderful experience!!!!

We came here to celebrate my birthday and absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, complete with a claw foot tub and gas fireplace. It was very romantic with a lovely view of the river and bridge from our private balcony. We want to come back and stay longer next time. It was fabulous!

This hotel is beautiful and we would definately stay again. The views are spectacular and the staff is excellent. Great service and reasonably priced for the outstanding location. We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay, beautiful scenery, and treated like royalty. The rooms are absolutely wonderful. The first hotel I would have stayed in the room all day and never went out. Parking becomes limited if you arrive later in the evening. Also a bit pricey but guess you can expect that with a beautiful place like this.

My experience was GREAT! I came in on Valentines Day and the front staff helped make special arrangements for me for dinner.Be aware - there is not a restaurant on site. You have go to to Astoria for food.

Shower door was wedged shut. One hotel staff member advised us to shower with the door open, another to body-block the door into the wall. Dried food on couch. Topper was person sleeping in exercise room. Would suggest attention to maintenance and that hotel staff at the very least do a walk through of public areas. Priced 100 more than other comparable hotels for standard room. View wonderful. Suggest lobby visit for view then drive on.
