Did extensive searching on the website before deciding to go with Candlewood Suites. Couldn't have made a better choice. I would recommend them to anyone. Wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of the amenities and the overall niceness of the hotel.

My children and I came to Charlotte, NC for a vacation and to visit friends. I was not aware that this was an extended stay hotel. I thought room service would pick up the dirty towels/linen daily. This was a change from my typical stay at hotels. Outside of this issue everything was wonderful. The environment in the hotel was peaceful, the staff were pleasant and great, and the location was around several eateries and accessible stores.

Very nice, room was great, I felt very safe. Entrance to hotel off main highway not driver friendly. Very clean, very comfortable, convenient to event I was attending, staff very friendly. I will stay there again.

The front desk was very busy and was changed everyday, and some were not friendly and helpful at all. Since there was a kitchen, we could cook a light meal. I am not sure if I want to come back here again...

We really like Candlewood Suites. This was our first experience although other family members had stayed there and highly recommended it. We like the kindness of the staff and the accommodations very much. We will certainly seek out your hotel in the future when we are travelling.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend vacation and the room was perfect. It wasn't huge, but it had a full kitchen, roomy bathroom, comfy bed, TV, internet access - basically everything we needed; no more, no less. My only complaint was a firealarm that went off in the middle of us getting ready for dinner reservations. Thankfully, we ended up still being on time though. Also, there wasn't a continental breakfast, but this is technically an extended stay hotel (though again, it's great for a weekend too!). Instead, they had a "Cupboard" where we could find food items for breakfast (or lunch/dinner if needed) and then pay for them on checkout. It was very convenient. One more thing was the location. Nearby (within 5 minutes) there were several great restaurants: O'Charley's, Outback, an awesome Japanese place called Kabutos, and for a little more expense there is The Melting Pot. Though everything was closeby the hotel was still far enough away from a main highway that we didn't get any of the street noise. A note though, make sure you have some well done driving directions; the road that the hotel is off of (E WT Harris) loops around oddly so that it almost seems there are 2 or 3 roads beside eachother with the same name - it's easy to get going the wrong direction.

Upon returning to my room the first night I discovered that my bed wasn't made, nor the kitchen cleaned up. It was a total surprise to learn that ""cleaning"" is only done once a week!! The clerk was smug when he pointed out the tiny sign explaining their ""program"".

Traveled to a college graduation. I liked the suite style of the rooms. My mom and I were quite comfortable. The living quarters made it feel like home. I would have preferred to have an elevator closer to our room, but overall it was a nice hotel.

It was a nice clean room. The area was really quiet. If you are looking for real food, make sure you bring your own, or you are going to have to drive to a restaurant. They have snacks, and there is only a Pizza Sub shop close by. They have a full size refrigerator, microwave and all the dishes/untensils you need if you bring your own food.
