At the Candlewood Suites Topeka Hotel, we put the amenities where they really count, in your room. Big and built for comfort, it's the ultimate suite for the business traveler. Each suite has a full kitchen complete with microwave and full size refrigerator. Work efficiently at your over sized executive desk with two separate phone lines and ample lighting. Relax in the overstuffed recliner while you enjoy watching complimentary movies on the in-room DVD player. Work off some stress in our fitness center or visit our Candlewood Cupboard to purchase meals and snacks. The Candlewood Suites Topeka is located in the heart of Topeka's business and retail district at I-70 and Wanamaker. We are near the Kansas state capitol building and Washburn University. Companies such as Goodyear, Payless Shoe Source, Hill's Pet Nutrition, Frito Lay and BNSF Railwayare a short drive from the hotel. Make sure you also make some time to see downtown Topeka and the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable fee of $75 for 1 to 6 days, $150 for 7 plus days. Pet policy must be signed at check-in. Call hotel for copy of pet policy. Room cleaning is provided once every 7 days. The maximum # of people allowed (including children) in a room is 2 in a room with 1 bed and 4 in a room with 2 beds. The front desk is open 24 hours. This hotel is committed to providing accessible facilities under the American Disabilities Act. If your accessibility needs are not met, please contact the Hotel Manager on Duty. This was the best I slept on the entire trip. The staff is helpful and and rooms are clean and relaxing.

I like the fully equiped kitchen, with a full size frig. The tub in the bathroom was clogged, it was like taking a bath standing up. Overall the stay was good. With the exception of when we first checked in they gave us keys to someone else's room that someone was staying in. And that the tub was clogged, which was really gross.

It had everything, dishes, cookware, silverware, etc. It was a smoking room becauseI did not call ahead. I was very impressed.

The guy at the desk was sleeping, had to yell to wake him up. Would not change our accommodations. Customer service was lousy.

Easy to find, friendly staff, nice room facilities, good parking. Both the wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. If ever back in this area would stay here again.

I especially liked the complete kitchen facility. The room I had did not have anywhere to place bathroom items. A good room for extended stay with a complete kitchen and very comfortable bed.

Room was nice and spacious. Smoking room that stunk and took two days to clean breathing machine. Checked to see if they had another room because the smoke smell was so bad that we bought pillows and blanket to try and sleep. The casinos had less smoke than the room.

Our room did not get clean & we had to request for clean towels. Nice, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Located right off the freeway and is down the same street from major shopping areas and restaurants.

Convenient to shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very smoky could have been aired out better or some kind of oder neutrilizer sprayed it was bad, I couldn't breath within 5 minutes of being in the room I got so congested. Motel was nice and convenient, staff was great. I would stay again.

The setup/decor of room was great. The desk attendant was polite and very friendly. Excellent place to stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable and furnishings were simply yet cozy! Great place!

Kitchenette, large bathroom, very comfortable bed, store with convenience food in lobby. No breakfast. Great stay - good location - good service - great for longer stays (kitchenette, store in lobby, free laundry, movie rentals) - comfortable beds - large bathroom - close to gas stations, restaurants, mall.
