well - I did not see too many reviews about this hotel so I was a bit concerned but we were very happy with the room and the price. It was very nice and clean. I noticed this hotel was about $20 less than a few competitors within the same block. If I am in the neighborhood, I definitely would stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. This was my second stay at this hotel and will continue to stay there during my visits to AZ.

The room was fairly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The bedspread had holes in it from smokers. I think I had asked for a non smoking room, but we got a smoking room instead. The door on the bathroom did not latch easily. The TV reception was very poor. The staff was not too friendly. My husband got a complimentary toiletry package that cost 75 cents. I thought complimentary was free. The sink in the bathrrom was a bit clogged. They did not give us the option of having our room cleaned. And we didn't get coffee for the coffee maker every morning. There was no breakfast served. They did have a place where you could purchase items but that was it.

My father and I went to watch my son play baseball at ASU. We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it. It's very comfortable and close to everything. I love the beds I always sleep so well.

Friendly, helpful staff; everything was clean; nice laundry/snack area. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel. It was no frills, but clean, which is the most important thing for my family. The pool area was small, but nice, and it was clean as well. They had a great snack area that was on an honor-system basis.

We liked this place because it was clean, had a kitchenette and a nice decent sized pool, was close to a big mall, and had easy access to the freeway so we could get places easily. Not a luxury hotel, but clean, safe, and a good value.

Nice quiet place. Clean rooms. Clean hotel.

Close to the Arizona Mills. The towels were not soft!

Room was immaculately clean. Front desk staff was not very helpful. Room, although clean, had a sterile feel and the cable station selection was poor.

When we go back to tempe we will stay here again

The room was ready for us to check in. The people were too loud at night.

Very nice hotel for the price. My only concern is they only clean the room weekly. Not a problem, but they need to at least stock the room with towels, toilet paper, etc.

The Candlewood/Tempe hotel was very clean and closeby to ASU. The room itself was clean and I liked the fact that the bedroom was separate from the entrance where our son slept on the rollout sofabed. There was a kitchenette and also a big desk with chair.

Excellent location and great customer service. The location was convient and around many shopping areas. I enojoyed my stay.

Great room! Everything a person would need was supplied in this suite. Great place. Set up just like a home. Kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, sink, stove, microwave, dishes, pans, even paper towels. Very clean room. Hook ups for internet. TV with a DVD/VHS player. Recliner, remote controls. Ironing board, hair dryer. The room meets the needs for people. Very comfortable.

The convenience of their honor-system store. Free laundry. We have stayed with this hotel chain several times all across the US and it fits our needs completely. It's nice to have in room cooking facilities and fridge. Also, free washer and dryer add to the appeal. We don't have time to stay in the room much, but the bathrooms are big and the rooms have always been clean.

Free DVDs. No business center. Adequate. Good location but could use more amenities.

I liked all the convenience of the food, laundry room, and DVD rental. The couch is small, no DVD in room, and lots of business people. Recommend if on business.

The location only. Cleanliness was lacking, amenities were lacking small rooms, hotel booked a birthday party and kids were running all over the hotel, took over pool. Not up to par, as well as no staff on duty, 1 star rating at best.

Construction, dirty, and uncomfortable! This was a very old hotel. Construction on freeway made it very hard to get to. The room was small & beds were very uncomfortable! The breakfast consisted of stale cereal & toast! Boring!
