The staff was very friendly and understanding. We had originally booked a Queen size bedroom suite without a pull out sleeper couch. We asked if we could have a suite with a sleeper couch, there was no problem in exchanging suites. My sister and I slept very comfortably each in her own bed.

Not much, the shower curtain rod was broken and we had to prop it up with a bottle of liquid detergent. The room was dingy and the lights were blown out we had to fix the light ourselves. I would never have paid, a night that they wanted It was acceptable for the per night that we spent.

Traveling with children is much easier when you stay in a suite. You can actually watch the news/weather after they go to bed. Bedroom was comfortable and separate from the kids, who were in the main room on a sofa bed. Room had two TVs, one with a combo VCR/DVD player; a full kitchen (with full size fridge); a very large desk/table; and a very large bathroom. Facility had reasonably fast, free Internet access. Very convenient location, within a mile or two of the Garden State Parkway, Pallisades Parkway and Thruway. Easy drive into New York City. No breakfast provided (but that wasn't a problem with the full kitchen).

The hotel was clean and quiet. We were not aware that there was no maid service on a daily basis, but in the long run, it worked to our advantage. We were not concerned about what time we got out in the morning. If we needed fresh towels or soap, etc. the desk provided it.

Excellent Short overnight stay. Handicap facilities. Will come again.

this is our 5th visit and it is always a great place to stay. The check in person has been there for several years and to my mind that's a good sign. I once had a minor complaint and they bent over backwards to rectify it

This is a great place to stay for a short or extended visit. The front desk clerk has been there quite awhile and that tells me that they treat him well. Rooms are roomy and comfortable. A GREAT value for the money

The ability to cook in room. No wireless need to be tethered with a LAN cable.

I had some problems checking in because there were no rooms available. This was probably because there was a huge snow storm the night before and a lot more people than expected spent the night. I didn't get to check in until 5:30pm =( The front desk staff was super nice though. The room was clean and well organized. There was a lot of space and a real closet to put my stuff in. I ended up spending 4 nights there and although I heard the housekeeping, they never came in to do any upkeeping. I only saw them the day I was supposed to check out, they came to my door every ten minutes to see if I was gone yet, very unprofessional.

Lamp was missing on button. Very good place.

When traveling with children, having a kitchen/living area separate from the bedroom is a real convenience. The hotel was clean, with free laundry and a decent workout room. Free VHS movie rentals at the front desk was a nice bonus. Plenty of restaurants and stores within a short drive or moderate walk.

It's convenient to my location.

Overall, this was one of the best values I have experienced for a motel stay. The only small problem was that the ice machine in the refrigerator in our room was not working and they did not have any ice machines elsewhere on the premises. But the good points well overshadowed this small problem. I would stay here again and again, anytime I am in this area.

There is a small kitchen, very good. Front desk needs to improve.

I know the area well...family ane business are there. The desk needs improvement.. sometimes it was great, other times, it was horrible. Two of the three people I had direct contact with were very attendtive, appared engaged and concerned. The third, couldn't have cared less, and let it be known. I left something in my room and tried to recover it...that reflected, in detail, the character of the place. I'll be back in a month...I probably won't stay there.

Convenient, clean & efficient. No maid service for short stays.

Good location. Good price. Broken toilet, broken remote, smoking room. We went to flush the toilet and it was clogged. We were invited to plunge the toilet ourselves with a plunger that the front desk provided. With no other options, I took the plunger and fixed the toilet myself (not nice). The battery in the remote control for the TV was dead. The bed was so far against the wall, that there was no room to get up. I had to move the bed to a different location in the room. There was a huge chair next to the other side of the bed. It made it impossible to get out of bed safely. I had to move this huge chair to another part of the room. Our stay was not that great.
