July, 2009
The room was inexpensive and close to the concert we were going to. The room was nice.

Location, close to attractions, free parking and free internet. Filthy, smells and looks disgusting, old, overall rooms are in bad shape, not professionally managed.

Me and a friend of mine were visiting New Jersey to be in our friends wedding, so we booked a flight and went with this low-priced hotel. First impressions wasn't that bad, we got there early and told them we had a reservation. We didn't get to actually use our room until close to midnight due to the wedding schedule. Our room was not in bad shape. Kind of chilly once we walked in, but the room set-up wasn't awful. We slept fine and woke up the next morning. Here is where it all went bad. When we went to check out we stood behind this one apparent "customer" for about 10-15 minutes. Later to find out he was someone she knew personally and they were just chit-chating. None of this was work related, and took up our time of checking out. We got to the counter, began to check out, and the lady asked for my debit card. I kind of thought it was fishy she did that, but handed it to her anyway. She passed me the card back, along with a list of expenses totaling up to 75.45. (Note: we paid already via travel online). I asked her why she charged me for a room I already purchased. She kept brushing off my questions, so I was outraged and left. I called later that afternoon and spoke to the manager of the hotel and argued with the manager on why I was charged AGAIN. She informed me that the employee made the mistake and charged me again. I demanded a refund, and was awarded that. Room was fine but the staff experience with the double charge pissed me off. Watch yourself checking out, they will double charge you for no reason. I won't go here ever again.

Our first room was very dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke despite being a "non-smoking" room. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower easily flooded the bathroom due to lack of proper drainage. We eventually switched rooms and were ultimately satisfied but our first impression left a bad aftertaste.

Had a small kitchen and separate bedroom. Understaffed at desk. Had to wait to check in. No one there. One of the better extended stay places in the area.

Looks great from the outside. Appeared to be only 1 person on duty for all services. Requested extra bedding but no blankets were available. First thing I noticed were hairs (not ours) on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door latch fell off therefore the bathroom door would not stay shut. We have stayed at Candlewood suites in other cities but this one gives the company a bad name.

The service was great and the room was fine, just no shampoo in the bathroom, the only coffee was decafe and no continrntial breakfast

Quiet and convenient. No comment. This hotel is quiet and convenient.

We have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions and have never had a problem. The staff is friendly and if something is wrong, it is fixed immediately.

We had a great stay. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was set up perfectly for a couple, and was super quiet. The parking lot was full, so the facility must have been, but from our room you would have thought we were the only guests. The only gripe (extremely minor) was that the TV channel listing in the information notebook in the room didn't have any correlation whatsoever to the actual channels on the TV. (BIG DEAL!!) If this place is typical of all Candlewood Suites, then we'll be looking forward to using them.

Very clean and everything you can want is in your room. Stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and more.

I would have like to have seen a pool, but other than that it was terrific.

The outdoor environment was very nice. Laundry room was not very suitable for a lot of people to use it.

very difficult to find--I rode up and down for about 45 minutes--stopped at 2 gas stations--they did not know where it was--finally called the hotel and they let me know where it was---it was on a side road off the beaten track with no signs leading to it---hotel clerk stated that everyone says this, but she didn't indicate that the management is doing anything about it--waited 15 minutes in the lobby for someone to come to sign me in---had to call the operator on the house phone---room was Ok for my 2 nights stay, but the carpet looked like it could have used some cleaning....Chili's restaurant nearby which was a great saving grace....

The accommodations and the full sized fridge. No room service until the end of the week, so trash can filled up quick. I've traveled all over the US and this is the first time I've stayed at Candlewood Suites. It would easily be one of the cleaner and more comfortable extended stay type hotels I've visited.

Checking in was a breeze, and there are tons of places to eat in the vicinity. My only complaints were that there was no pool or free breakfast. There was this odd *honor* system with the food, which made it seem like they just didn't want to pay an additional staff member to work a cashier.

Location. Ants in bathroom; holes in bathtub. Hotel was ok. I feel this room was the problem not really the hotel.

I was very glad to have chosen that hotel, they were very professional and people freindly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in a good, quiet and clean town. Mt Laurel has always been my choice because it's also close to Philly and it has great stores and resturants.

Quite, Clean, it was easy to relax and feel safe. Bed was too soft. One of the best I had ever stayed at. Can't stress enough how clean it was and how friendly the staff was.

The Candlewood Suites was a very Comfortable. In addition I like the idea of having a full bathroom with the vanity in the bathroom instead in an area outside of the bathroom. It was in a very good location. It was near several shopping centers, and restaurants yet, not smack dab on the main highway. It was a very nice quiet hide away.
