The hotel provides a clean environment for business travelers who want that simple place to rest during travel. No extra rooms, no extra TVs, no extra strange chocolates on the pillow...a clean room, kitchenette, bed, bathroom, and table. All items are well kept, and the room does provide an Internet connection (reasonable DSL speed). Most appreciated was the kitchenette, where you can keep your costs in line by just picking up some items from the local supermarkets. Room service only comes once a week (or when you check out), so if you're a slob, you live with it. I appreciate this more appropriate level of cleaning. I continue to use this hotel anytime I travel to this area for business.

Two guys to a room didn't work with single bed situation that Orbitz doesn't warn you about...staff rescued the day by providing an extra room for a good value. Weekly room service is disappointing but understood.

Great room. Clean and fairly well equipped. Small kitchen ette with two burner stove, microwave, full size fridge. TV with VCR/DVD Combo. Nice suprise. Keep your room clean. Maid service only once or twice a week! (Two day stayers, just live with it!)

Friendliness and willingness to help out of staff. No continental breakfast. I liked how easy it was to locate, and it was close to the freeway. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchenette. The only part I did not like was there was no daily maid service, so we did not get new towels or anything during our 5 night stay.

Candlewood Suites was a great hotel experience. This was my second stay at this Candlewood Suites hotel and again, I am very satisfied. The rooms are big, nice furniture, a great kitchenette, just a very nice overall set-up. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Another great thing...they allow PETS!! It's nice to see a nice hotel that allows their guests pets!

Friendliness of staff, clean, kitchen in room with coffee. Free laundry, store, exercise room, TV, DVDs. Smelled of old smoke. Good location, bright, clean, TV cable choices, DVDs, VHS, exercise room, store, kitchen in room with refrigerator and toaster and 2 burners and dishes, large bathroom, beds were comfortable. Three levels, wide staircase, one elevator.

If your staying in the denver area you need to stay here. Extra plush bedding, huge bath towels spot-less rooms, bathrooms. hotel is fairly new and looks it too. Staff is great! Try the candy in the bowl at the front desk. Free washer and dryer use. Free movie rentals. And they have a recliner to sit in and watch your movies! and a bag of popcorn in the microwave. and a small coffee pot with a bag of coffee and a kitchen with a nice fridgerator

This hotel has been completely redone. The staff is terrific. The location is fabulous. Close to the City of Denver, Historic Golden, Minutes from the mountains. Great restaurants of all flavors are a few blocks away.

Staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Location was excellent! Can't think of anything. I was so impressed and great quality of this hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful. I am a single mother. When my 5 year old son got sick in the middle of the night, the staff woman offered to sit with him whileI run across the street to buy some tylenol as it was cold outside. I ended up having to take him to the denver ER. They gave me great directions and asked everyday how he was doing. I loved this hotel. Were coming back in March. I would recommend it to everyone!

Although this hotel is more geared towards longer stays, it is clean and the kitchen is nice to have. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall, this was a great place to stay near denver. enjoy.

Candlewood Suites DENVER/LAKEWOOD was conveniently located, clean, and the staff was a compliment to the hotel. Unfortunately, there was a soccer tournament of vivacious teens- - -it was a bit of a problem going to sleep with the raucous they made. Hotel room had full kitchen and DVD/VCR and CD player! They had to give us a smoking room because they had few vacancies. This hotel is nicer than some 3 stars I've been too. There is no pool, which was a downside, had a hotel store with reasonable prices, free washer and dryer, exercise room. The kitchen inside the hotel room even had a dishwasher! Definitely a great place to stay if your stay is longer than one night.
