Hotel is very clean and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfotable. The full kitchen area was a welcome change from the standard mini micro-wave and fridge many chains offer.

Room very nice, front desk personal very helpful. Ease of finding it, heard from another guestI could have got it cheaper. Friendly and a great place to stay for leisure or business. Could use wireless internet though.

When my 2 daughters and I arrived at the Candlewood after booking this hotel in advance with a guaranteed rate, they REFUSED to give us a room with 2 beds though there were rooms available. As there were 3 of us one of us had to sleep ON THE FLOOR!! They did say they would give us another room with 2 beds, but we would forfeit our money already paid and then have to pay double the promised rate;. If I stayed somewhere else they would NOT refund my money as we arrived late. They were rude and extremely unaccommodating. I will never stay there again!!! We were not the only ones having trouble that night. 2 other parties left angry and did not come back. Because of the rudeness of the person at the front desk on the evening of 4-25-08, this motel lost 3 customers. and I for one will never consider staying there again.

Everything. Room had many conveniences including kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge & micro. Also had computer hookup, 2 TV's, sofa could be pulled out.

We had family come for a visit and put them up at a hotel for comfort. Surprise, surprise, they were very comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of a shopping district so anything they needed was right at their fingertips. The room included everything they needed to cook in the room and a plus size fridge, and it was big enough to move around in. We will definitely use Candlewood Suites again.

It was clean, nice, and in a safe, convenient location. It was a bit generic. Set in a convenient area at the confluence of major roads and highways in Salt Lake City, this clean, quiet hotel offers quick access to many areas of the city and a nice place to relax at the end of a day full of journeys. If you're looking for a simple, clean room, comfortable bedding, and nice amenities like a kitchenette, open gym, and a 24 - hour honor - system store, this is a great place to stay!

Great, central location for many activities. Maid service only as requested to help keep costs down makes good sense. Free local phone calls. Good TV service with free VCRs & DVDs available. Bottom line: excellent balance of services and amenities, especially for longer stays.

Excellent. We loved our stay, all was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We would recommend to all.

Nice pillows. Internet service was down. Simple hotel for the business or leisure traveler away from congestion of downtown.

Nothing. Everything. The desk person was rude and did not care what you complained about. The room furnishings from the bed to the recliner was more than disappointing. We actually left and came home as we live in Ogden.

It was really nice to have a complete kitchen. The room was smoking and had only one bed. We had kids and were all crammed into one smelly bed. We were traveling with our three children and the hotel was unable to change our room. We had three people in the bed and two on the floor and it reeked of smoke. The room itself, service, cleanliness and everything else was very nice.

Convenient location, elegant setting of the room. None. Location of the hotel is very convenient whether you want to dine or shop after dinner. It is also near a gasoline station and the hotel itself is awesome. You have nothing else to ask, everything is being provided and it is really worth staying in this hotel.

The bed was very comfortable. I was very disappointed when I went to get in the shower in the morning and the city had turned the water off. It came on in about a half hour, but it was an inconvenience, they probably couldn't help. The room also had a weird smell. We never could figure out what it was. The hotel clerk told us they were full so we couldn't change rooms.

Location. Bathroom sinks have no cabinet to put things on. We had a good experience at this hotel.

The service was excellent and the place was clean. It needs some kind of breakfast, it would really be nice. I was impressed with the room and also with the staff. I just wish that there would have been a breakfast. It makes things so much easier.

The night watchman came out very late and helped us load our luggage, very kind. I loved everything about this hotel! This place was a dream. Large room, great night watchman, price was very good. I am very glad that we stayed here. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely clean and well stocked. I loved this place and will stay here again!

Luxurious bedding, kitchenette. No pool, only one bed in room. Pleasant stay. Liked having kitchenette for our 5 night stay. Disappointed that the gas grills that are normally available were out of service.

Nothing. It smelled bad. It was not very clean. and did not provide room service! We would never stay in this hotel again.

All the stores and restaurants surrounding the hotel. They never asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. Basic hotel.
Date of Stay:

Location - easy to get to other places, kitchenette. 8 days and no maid service - told maid would be in once. If you are not looking for a romantic hotel with get views of mountains this is it. Liked the kitchenette and convenience to major roads to ski areas.
