We had a great time in Fairfax and the hotel location was perfect. It is a very short distance to the Metro, food and shopping. They are undergoing some renovations, but this was hardly noticable. The only bad thing was the smell in the halls, which was cigarette smoke. It was extremely strong, but we didn't smell it in the room. A pool would have been nice too.

It was extremely clean and comfortable. Internet was only available with a wired connection. I have stayed at many extended stay hotels and this hotel was among the top-of-the-line in comparison. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The hotel had the best pillows and there was a note that said you you like a different firmness in your pillow, that you could exchange your pillows. Late check-in was done with locked safes at the front, which is convenient. There an a convenient store-priced snack room that small items can be purchased. There were a few machines for a workout facility. Overall, the place was quiet, convenient to the traffic congested. Near a mall and a lot of restaurants. This place is not easily accessible without a car and high-speed Internet is wired, so bring your cat-5 cable or ask the front desk.

Since this is an "Extended Stay" Suite hotel, we were told that housekeeping isn't availabile unless staying a full week. Which was fine. Unfortunately, there wasn't a full roll of TP when we got there and what was left was not quantity enough for 2 days. So, we had to go in search of more and ended up just taking a roll from a housekeeping cart in the hall. Other minor problems were the TV remote didn't work, but it was quickly replaced and no ashtray in my smoking room...which they quickly remedied. Other than those two minor issues, it was a nice place to rest our heads after two full days of a CHEERLEADING COMPETITION....OMG!!! I'm so glad this is my daughter's last year! The hotel front desk staff was very courteous and eager to please. One thing I found interesting, two different families who were at the Front Desk when we were checking in did not seem to realize their rooms were just one queen bed and were either asking for refunds or roll-away beds (seemed both of these families had 3 or more people in their room). Not sure what the deal was here since the website provided enough info on the room types.

My only complaint is that there does not seem to be any king beds available. Otherwise I couldn't ask for more.

This hotel had very clean, attractive rooms and good lighting. The breakfast was quite minimal. This hotel was well located, had good parking, and had excellent room furnishings. Although the breakfast was minimal, internet was available for a fee, and it was a quiet place to work and rest.

Clean! Even with renovation work. Bit out of the way if you are planning a vacation in DC. Had to drive to Metro, then park, then board train. Got expensive - over $20 a day on train. Nice hotel. Very nice desk staff! Room was is very good condition. Kitchenette was clean.

If I am crazy, I will say anything good about this hotel. Steal my stuff, over charges two nights I was not there. Don't stay there unless you are ready for staff steal your stuff, and do not care to pay the nights you are not there. I had to fight with them for more than a week to get the two nights charges back.

Nice, clean, quiet place to stay. There was nothing to do, no restaurant, no place to eat had to go out to eat or order, it was only for business travel. The hotel is nice, but I would never stay again because there was nothing to do. You actually had to leave the hotel to do anything. I would only recommend business travelers for that hotel.

Location and room comfort. TV should update to HD. We like the exercise room, laundry/dryer facilities.

Excellent for families and long-term stays. The prices of the items in the snack area were quite steep. The staff was friendly and the hotel was family-friendly, comfortable, attractive, clean and convenient. Although I stayed only one night, the hotel is a great place for families and long-term stays. I would have liked to have stayed longer and will most likely do so in the future.

It had a full kitchen. Housekeeping only once a week or stay. It is a nice hotel, I would stay there again if I was going to area.
