The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette was well-equipped with basic & clean appliances and serving items, and the staff was courteous and accommodating. The staff also maintained a little convenience food pantry where guests could purchase packaged snacks, bottled drinks, and the like. I would recommend it to any traveler with business in the immediate area who is keen on having a place to sleep that is clean, comfortable,& functional, but who does not need fancy accommodations or nearby entertainment. It is close to the airport.

Good small kitchen. Only 1 small double bed. The reservation is mess up with a smoking room. It took 20 minutes to change back to a small bedroom with only one double bed.

Candlewood was better than i expected for the price, i was looking for a cheap place to rest my head for a night and this was the best i could find. pleasently surprised with the size of the room. loved having a small kitchen, i was able to make fresh coffee in the morning.

Kitchen, dish washer, microwave, refrigerator, internet, parking etc. Lack of a cafe but the hotel made up for it. It was awesome strongly recommended.

I absolutely adore this hotel I stay every weekend I come to Va.The rooms are spacious the dvd player and free dvd movies are a added bonus.The staff is outstanding and the free laundry facilities just make this hotel too good to be true.I have stayed at plenty of the so called 5 star hotels in the area and none compare.

The rooms were clean as well as the hotel lobby but there wasn't anyone in the office when we arrived. It was very impersonal.

Comfort. No restaurant. It was very quaint, comfortable and quiet during my stay and the front desk staff was very nice.

I had a problem with the dry cleaning service which was not properly addressed by the hotel. My cleaning came back obviously not ckeaned but pressed and the hotel sent it cak to the cleaners only to tell me that they would not charge me for the cleaning that they did not do. The hotel told me that they were sorry,and I said I was sorry that they had to live with this cleaners every day. I only ecountered them for this one trip.

Extra friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean, and the in room amenities of a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher, stove, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, ample cupboard space, iron and ironing board and hairdryer made it a great home away from home. Didn't have to spend a lot on dining out. Didn't need to keep fetching ice from the vending machine down the hall to be able to have a cold beverage or a snack on hand. The only thing I would recommend they do differently is to have a second driveway entrance and/or a street viewable sign so you can get into their parking lot.

I had a wonderful weekend at the Candlewood Suites. The bed was the most comdortable that I have ever slept in. The room was very nicely furnished and the kichenette was perfect. There was free internet service which I appreciated. It was supposed to be wired but turned out to be wireless to my delight. There was a refridgerator with icemaker, a nice stove and microwave. I did not watch a lot of tv but it was a nice tv with lots of stations. There was only weekly maid service but I liked that because I knew that I could leave everything in my room and not have to worry about something happening to it. The staff at the front desk were FABULOUS! I give them five stars. There was no food service but that was not important to me. I ate out with other convention attendees at local restaurants. Airport shuttle service would have been nice. The rate was excellent

Free coffee in the morning was nice. The website didn't make clear the layout of the rooms could be different. We thought we were getting a suite which, to us, meant a couch and bed in every room, the pictures on the Candle wood Suites website seemed to indicate that would be the case. When we got there, we had a room with one bed and a kitchenette, and no place for the kids to sleep. I had to pay extra for two of the nights to get a space my children could sleep. I still paid less than generally people would, but it really hit my strictly budgeted family trip hard, and we had to forget another special event so that we could afford it. I was very disappointed, and felt a little bit like I had been baited and switched.

Hotel is impressively clean and well lighted. Can be a little challenging to locate for first time traveler to the area. Will stay in the hotel again and highly recommend the hotel. The hotel provides an easy to read and follow listing of nearby businesses and transportation. Excellent job.

I liked the small kitchen. It was nice to have a sitting area separate from bed. Cheap furniture was not comfortable. Had to ask for needed bedding for hide abed sofa. This hotel was very clean and quiet. It was convenient to many things.

Having a kitchen set up. Had small bugs in bathroom around toilet. Certainly fine for what I paid and even better than kitchen. Very convenient with store in motel.

Room supplies all that you need & very clean. Firmest pillow was still soft. Lovely for business traveler. The kitchen makes it so much easier & cheaper than eating out alone. Front desk man is great and remembers return guests.
